If you could change one quality about your personality....

I am kind of happy with the way I am at the moment. There are things here and there that could benefit from a touch up, but I am kind of content with my personality at the moment. I'm sure in the future I will want somethings to change. As of now I'm okay with myself.

I'd like to be more outgoing. I have difficulty even overcoming my fears of organising an appointment with the doctor. However, that's probably got something to do with the stigmatisation against my medical treatment. In that case, I wish I conformed more to other people from the start.

I have a hard time tolerating ignorance. I get peeved when I hear someone talking authoritatively about something they do not understand. If I could change one quality about my personality it would be to have more patience in the presence of stupidity.

I want to change mine. I wish I could do awesome stuff free from the fear of the consequences (unless it's something that will get me killed).

I have some pretty bad borderline ocd tendencies when it comes to time. I have this constant need to know what time it is, and I can't stand being late to things. Especially if it's out of my control. Forcing me to be late to something, be it a movie or class, is a pretty surefire way to get me in a sour mood. It can be annoying though because of course things happen that I can't control. It'd be nice to have a magical time-traveling future version of myself appearing to tell myself to 'settle the flip down' whenever I go into anxiety mode.

I also would like to change my constant sense of self-doubt. I can't stand doing things that have the potential to inconvenience others, and therefore I usually just inconvenience myself in the process of avoiding conflict with others

I get irritated easily, so maybe that? Not much I can really think of, I like my personality. :33

I'm extremely paranoid and it's stressful. I'll link a sneeze to something horrible like HIV and Cancer or I think I'll run into my parents/guardians/their friends when I go out, even though they're very far away.

The part that makes me beat my wife

I'd change the desire to peek into the Serious Discussion forum. I inevitably get pissed.

I know it may seem like a good thing but I'm really uncaring. It proves a good quality because I'm really relaxed and calm about things, but at the same time when people go to me for advice, apparently I seem standoff-ish and like I don't care about what they have to say. Being a girl, my friends go to me for advice and it's really hard for me to sympathise... and of course them being girls take offense to the fact that sometimes I really don't.

I'd be less lazy and more shy.

I'm pretty much unable to get excited (or any form of happiness, really) about anything. I can't really comprehend why something matters or why I should be more enthusiastic. Even with things I know are good, I can't muster any real reaction other than "oh, cool". I end up being unable to hold a conversation because that aspect of my personality keeps me from relating to people on an emotional level.

It's kind of a problem.

As my friend might say, stop being very dangerous all the time.

She say's that I do too much ♥♥♥♥ that could cause me to get hurt all the time and I could possibly end up as a veggie.

I would love to be a carrot.

I get nervous too easily. It doesn't stop me from doing what i do, but i always have this deep pang of anxiety beforehand.

I need to be more of a go-getter so I can get a job and catch up with my age.

I freak out very easily over things. As soon as something goes wrong, I don't handle it well at all. I'm a nervous unsettled wreck until things are right again.

I'd like it if I could not freak out so badly over things. :/

And I'm also just like Disulfate - I get very paranoid about things. I fear illness and the worst possible outcomes, kind of like George from Seinfeld.


Well, I'm not that bad..but I'm not that far from it either. XD

Well..One quality? Just one? Hmm..

I would rid myself of my lack of giving a damn.

Lemme elaborate.
But first! Let me tell you I'm a 15 year old kid, at a high school, amongst 15 year old kids who happen to have exceedingly rich parents. And my family is just getting by, whilst sending me to a private school, thanks to a bursary. I get the typical hate from getting something for less and they don't.

Now, whenever someone tries to anger me; "Christian has a tiny ..." or "Go back to your cage you ferret f*****" (That one happens alot because...I have ferrets. And that makes me a naughty ferreter), I just don't get angry. Hell, I get amused by peoples ramblings. And it has resorted into several fights.
If I wasn't so...Let's say, relaxed, I'd probably have the testosterone to think up a witty retort and start wailing on the kid. Nip it in the bud.
But, because of my way of dealing things, it just happens all the time.
And I stay relaxed all the time.

The non-stop relaxation has been doing a number on my grades.
I used to be a freakin' worry wart about the up coming exams/tests. I'd revize like crazy, in three months in advance to the day it was sat.

Now, however, I lack that nervousness. I have no urge to study as to satiate my anxiety. I no longer get angry with myself over getting a bad grade. I feel no time pressure to revize for my modular exams, which will grade me out for life.

If I was only half as relaxed, and double more tensed, I'd be in a safe spot in life than I am now.



Odd part is, I can't sleep. I'm to goddamn relaxed -_-

But I digress. I'm rambling.


tl;dr : Less hippy, more pricky.

I would change my timidness/shyness. I'm slowly getting over it, but wouldn't it be useful if I could just get rid of it all at once?
