Even if you don't touch anything on yourself when you go, the toilet flusher has germs on it.

I sure do. Assuming you haven't done your business on your hand, you wouldn't neccesarily need to, but I make a habit of it. If It's not just a piss, then yes (particuarly base don the above poster's comment).

I think if germs were visible to the naked eye, personal hygiene would no longer be a problem for most people.

There are rare times (and I mean RARE) when I don't wash my hands, that's when I am in a mad dash for something...whatever it may be.

It is best to wash them everytime you go to the public toilets. Who knows who used them before you. It is always best to wash them.

I wash them at home as well, roughly the same reasons as well. Doesn't take much effort though.

you could wear shorter shirts. or lift them up and keep them up with your chin. that's typically what i do if they're long. i don't even think about it, i just do.
