On the Topic Of Dating Fictional Characters

With the recent topics of people stating what video game, anime, flim, TV, etc. characters they would date, I would like to add my two cents in.

When it comes to my fantasies on dating 'em my imagination, my penis and my right hand on my penis does my dating when it comes to dating video game and anime characters, ja. See that chick in my sig and avatar? Yeah, I dated her for about five miutens. Goddamn premature ejactions.


So yeah, to keep this from being locked, I always want to know why are people have this obession on dating or banging fictional characters. I won't lie, there are some fictional characters I would bang if they were real but I also have the common sense to hire a hooker or get one of my female friends really drunk and force I mean ask them kindly to dress up as my favorite fictional character. But serisouly, what are (grammar IDK) your views on thinking like this, guys and fellows.

If anyone says Edward Cullen and is serious about it, you're banned from the internet.

Personally, I wouldn't mind dating Princess Zelda or Faye Valentine.
Zelda is pretty obvious and Faye Valentine is just hot like that.

I don't have any kind of obession with dating any kind of fictional characters.

I did once upon a time, I'm sure - but nowhere overly bad. There was this really cute girl from Strawberry Panic that I would totally make a move on, if she were real. But, she's not!

Strange story though: I used to have a lot of friends like that, and they'd often be all, "OMG MEL, WHO WOULD YOU CHOOSE!?" And then I'd just pick someone that I found generally interesting. ;p

While I think the idea is silly, I won't deny that there are probably fictional characters I'd so love to date. And I bet all of you are thinking I'm going to say Ike, huh? Well surprise! He's not one of them! I believe he belongs to Elincia.

As for who WOULD be my answer, I'd say Kieran. <3 Knight in shining armor is my kind of thing and Kieran is my favorite character who belongs to that category. Not to mention I find him to be highly cute and funny. Yes, yes, Kieran ftw! <3

I used to fangirl over fictional characters. But since then, years ago, I've developed some sense. Common sense. They will never be real. Though, if they were, that would be kinda cool, and I would have a hard time leaving them alone. But at least I know the difference between fiction and reality now. Some people still don't seem to, even people I know.

I am not attracted to fictional characters. Dating them would just put them in an out of character position. To me every character has a certain role they play and I do not like picturing them out of their role. Then again... I'm not one of those people who pictures every mildly attractive character in any video game, movie or anime and faps to them. Some people are just perverts.

Like seriously, I really don't see any difference between someone fantasizing about Jessica Biel versus someone fantasizing about Krystal from the Starfox series. I mean, you have absolutely no chance banging either of them, so what does it matter if one is real and one is fake?

I like how this thread by a well known ZUser is getting people to say what fictional characters they like when that's not even the point of the thread, while the threads by a newer member just get scorn.

As for the question though, I think it's only answerable on a personal level; everybody would have a different view and reason for that view.

Midna is about the only fictional girl I would bang. I mean, she was awesome in TP and it really sucked when she left Link hangin' there like that. Many people are attracted to real women.
