Brainstorming ideas for my web show.

I've recruited my friend and we are currently in the process of coming up with material. While we aim to create a show similar to tim and eric's awesome show, great job, our humor isn't focused on the absurd but rather actual events and personalities that we've met or seen.

For example, one skit involves a guy we saw at a gas station on the way to deliver some crack. This guy with flowing blond hair, a tight v-neck shirt, and a matching pair of white pants and boots pulled up on the pump adjacent to us. As soon as I turned my head the gunning began:

"Hey, it's Dogg the Bounty Hunter."

"More like Fagg the Cock Hunter."

From then on he became central to our inside joke collection. We even managed to write down an entire segment dedicated to him and his exploits as a cock hunter, along with a parodied version of Dogg's crew.

We also invented a term for characters on our show called The Pantheon of Sad Men. There have been a few older gentlemen who we have known at one point or the other who, for all intents and purposes, were complete losers. Among them is a mentally-handicapped man in his late thirties and a creepy old guy addicted to painkillers.

I suppose what I'm looking for is some constructive criticism. Are our ideas capable of producing laughter and entertainment, and do they have a solid foundation?

I don't have much for ideas on show content just yet, but if you need help with the actual online production and distribution, give me a holler.

Why make fun of the guy?

Why not? My life is characterized by humor and I'm quite a goofy person usually.

I mean, really, you can't fault me for being judgmental here. I'm not picking on the guy for possibly being gay, just that his choice of fashion is very bad.

Exploitation is always good for humor. Racial specifically, but there are others. :3

I hope you end up with material that doesn't suck that much. I'm afraid I can't offer any suggestions because I'm not terribly funny. Best wishes in your project though. : )

Wait, it basically just said we sucked and then you followed up with your lack of ideas because the blood flow to your brain has been stemmed by daddy dick slapping you.

But that really is just a stupid joke that you'd hear any random stoner kid in any random high school say. There wasn't anything witty or clever or...ya'know...funny about it.

That's besides the point. That event laid the foundations for an awesome COPS/Dogg The Bounty Hunter parody skit.

In order for it to be successful you have to make it like this:

I was going to say the same thing everyone else has "dumb joke lol" until I read the "Panthaicantspellthat of Sad Men" title, which i like the concept of. Similar to that "People at Wal-Mart" website, which features horrible pictures of real people at Wal-Mart.

Avoid anymore "Cock Hunter" jokes, and it has some potential!

Keep it in bad taste. That's all I can say.
