Yes. Or the general "anything the rest of the world does is better and whatever systems the US uses are dumb and outdated". That sort of thing.

Not necessarily everything, but the US is stone-ageing it with the measuring thing.

That's fine, but I hate when people are arrogant about it, and that's all it ever comes off as. It's such a stupid thing to mock. For Chrissakes, Fahrenheit isn't even used scientifically.

I have to admit, I've always found the Fahrenheit system somewhat confusing and nonsensical. I prefer Celsius, because it uses the same measurement units as Kelvin, the accepted scientific measure of temperature (it's just offset by -273.15 degrees - the progression is the same in C and K, however, so 1 C increase = 1 K increase).

ANYWAY, getting back to weather, I'd actually love to see a tornado one day - as long as I'm not in danger of getting hit by flying debris!

High humidity is what you consider "beautiful"?

I live in a place full of people like you that prefer warm weather, but even they hate the humidity.

Winter is the most comfortable season where I live, and cold is the easiest to deal with.

Cloudy days are nice. The sun is just way too hot. I don't like the feeling of it on my skin. =/

Tornadoes are awful.

I like snow, and Winter. The cold weather always feels better than the hot weather during the Summer. Plus, there are many things you can do with snow.

Well, I do prefer dry weather to wet weather, but I don't mind humidity at all, still. I just don't like the feeling of cold on my skin...particularly when it's raining. Cloudy days make me depressed. I think I might have SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder).

Hot, dry, sunny weather without wind. I can't stand wind unless it's a subtle breeze. I like to walk outside and see the heat waves. That's my kind of weather. :>

I love windy fall days, especially if they are a little chilly. I love feeling the wind blow through my hair and watch the leaves flutter around on the ground. It's also scarf and peacoat weather, my two favorite articles of clothing. =)

I like the rain. I find the noise soothing. Particuarly when it's semi heavy. It reminds me of the sound of a waterfall, which I love.

I like partly cloudy weather. The mix of shade and sunlight is beautiful.

Those are AWESOME.

The weather in early spring. After a painfully long winter, actually seeing the grass and it being all sunshine-y and semi-warm makes me happier than anything

Blizzard-ing or thunderstorm-ing.

I like warm rain. I LOVE when it's raining and the sun is still shining, so it sets a goldish colouring on everything. <3333333
