Time is a river, and history repeats itself....

Yes, you understood me correctly, I'm leaving. If you had noticed my location in recent days, then you could have put two and two together sooner. Or be like a few people, and I'd have just told ya.... anyway, I've been registered here, almost a year, but I didn't really get active until late September last year, so there's no way I could truly be here a full year so to speak.

Some might wonder why, some might not even know me, and some flat out won't care. Some may even be dancing in the streets to celebrate, I don't know. Dah well.

Primary reason for my leaving is, as many who has left before me, no time. I've got a job now, and once summer hits(soon), I'll be working much more often. Plus, I've got to get everything ready for college this fall, so between those two things, I've got precious little time left, and I'm afraid it cannot be devoted to Zelda Universe. I can't say that I've been a great member, not even a good member, but hopefully not a bad one either.

As many in the past, I've got some people I want to make special mention of, and thanks to.

Anakin- For making such a wonderful site, IMO the best zelda website there is. More info on games, more coverage of upcoming games, and just all around a better site. Thanks for making and maintaining it.

SearanoX- I don't remember when, and I can't really say why, but for the longest time(or so it seems) any time I've had a question about this or that, I PM Sear. I'm sure he gets tired of it now or then, but the great thing about him is, he's patient, and always answered the questions I had. He also made my sig, which I still think looks great. So thanks Sear, for being a friend. Keep on moderating

Fianaa(formerly known as Zelda_Tetra)- You were a good friend here, ZT, and I'll miss you. We often had the most delightful chats via AIM. And perhaps we still shall.

Hero of Hyrule- My little bro(or something like that), while he was my third adoptee, he was the only one who actually stayed, heh. I hope that I've had some positive impact upon him, and hopefully, he'll be a good member from now until he leaves.

And lastly, but certainly, the foremost one would be,

Lost Shade- While most don't know him(mainly because he rarely ventures from the fic forum) he has been my greatest friend. He and I have written fiction together since I became active last Fall. I remember my first post in TWOTT, I never used the line break(Heh) and so all my text just wrapped together in one giant blob. So he made the diplomatic suggestion that I space it out some. And that was merely the first of many helpful tips which helped make me the writer I am now(whether that is good or bad, you be the judge). We've bounced ideas off each other through PM and AIM, he's kept secrets from me(really good ones) in the story, and I've kept only a few small ones, but it was still great fun. I can't say thanks enough to him, nor can I express my sadness at having to depart from writing with him. I'll miss you Shade.

I'm sure there are others which I've no doubt forgotten, so don't feel bad, I've just got a bad memory You know who you are(or do you?...). Should you for any reason wish to get ahold of me, your best bet will be my AIM: kamikazecw , And I might come around every now and then to check up on things, and perhaps put up a new chapter of fiction but you most likely won't notice if I ever pop in. I will empty my sig box, and just leave a link to this page wherein everyone can find my activities.

My first fic- Legend Of Zelda: Four Swords, well sorta *finished*

My second fic- Metroid: Mutation *unfinished*

The coop fic- The War of the Triforce - Legends *finished*

I've tried to keep this brief but it has not been that. I do have one last request though, if you do not know me(meaning you newbs) or just don't really care that I'm leaving, don't spam things up with pointless one sentance posts for no reason. If you do know me, but just don't feel like posting anything, that's fine, I understand. I'll probably only check up on this thread for a few days anyway.

While Old Beane's saying has its merit, I believe I shall be one of the few exceptions,
So ZU, I bid thee adieu.

Leaving? ;_;
We are going to miss you KC...
You have been a great friend also, and I always enjoyed talking to you on AIM, but, whenever you have time, feel free to IM me.
Well, Good luck, for college and your work...

Re: Time is a river, and history repeats itself....

It's too bad to see you going, Kamikaze. I really do consider you a good friend here, and while you don't necessarily stand out from the crowd as much as some, I've always read what you've had to say and respected your opinion. Don't worry about the questions that you've asked me, heh, it's no trouble at all (but that's no excuse to start spamming my PM Box with them). After all, it's what I'm here for.

I really do think that you're one of our best members. Never once have I seen anything from you that wasn't worth reading, nor have I seen anything that I even disagreed with very much. It's a good thing that you're leaving, though, by the sound of it. After all, your life is much more important than this stupid 'ol message board, and I know that just about everybody here would rather be guaranteed a good future tomorrow rather than a conversation today.

Good luck in the future, and I hope you do return. This place simply won't be the same without you. And you know, you may not be one of the exceptions.

I will miss you KC. You were a lot of fun on TWOTT thread. With out you TWOTT wouldn't be as great as it was. Plus you an LS were IMO the best fic writers on ZU. Good bye KC. I hope to here from you again in the future.

Dude, that totally sucks, man. You are a great writer, and I had wanted to see you do some more posts with that talent. But, I guess I am not to be the judge of that. I'm really sorry that you have to leave. I guess we'll see ya around, well not really.

You're leaving? Damn, that really sucks, I liked your fics... they were very funny, and you seemed like a great member to me. But, if you have to leave for a good reason, which I believe your reason is, I won't try and stop you, but you will be missed I'm sure.

I guess there's nothing left to say besides goodbye... so, goodbye KC!

So you're leaving, eh?

Well, at least you got a good reason. Because, if you have too little time now, there may come a time later when you get more time and so can return.

I didn't bother to read all the responses you got, but to qoute Oldbeane:

Re: Time is a river, and history repeats itself....

Well, Thankyou everyone. I can't say that I agree with my being a "great" member, but thankyou nonetheless. Heh, this is about the only day I've got available to do much of anything anymore, so I'm now getting around to saying this last little bit.

Obviously as was said thither ^, Good bye. Thanks for the time here, and I'll miss ya'll(now there's a good texas word).

Damn, I bet I missed you. Of all days to begin the hard work of building a website. ;__;

Although we weren't exactly the bestest friends, you're posts are inspiring and I'm really sorry to see you go. Honestly. ;____;

I guess you could call me one of the 'admiring from afar types' who knows you're there, but just doesn't say anything. Now I wish I had. ;___________;

I hope you have a good time at college, and if you never return, a great life. Good luck, KC! *waves tearfully*

PS-You'll always be known to me as one of those with a great username! I love it!

Re: Time is a river, and history repeats itself....

Well KC, I hope you end up reading this message, I'm sorry to see you go but life is more important then ZU (as I seem to occasionaly forget...) I want to say bye, and thank you, you offerd some great constructive crtisism for my sprite comic (to all you fans of it out there, I know it's been over a month, I will update it soon.) and I want to thank you for that. I'll miss you, you may not have been the amazing member that everyone noticed, but you were always there and could always be counted on. I'll miss you, but I'm also glad that you are going on to college. Bye KC, have a good life. (gah, this sounds to final, I'm hoping that Beane's law will apply here, "They always come back.")
