Your Personality

I've seen a couple people (mostly Bravo) with these personality badges in their sigs recently. They're from this site called http://www.mypersonality.info/. I tried out their personality test and it was surprisingly more in-depth and truthful than most personality tests I've come across. So seeing how interesting this test is, I want to see the members of ZU take the test and see where their personalities rank. Post your results here and discuss them with everyone.

There was a thread about this pretty recently if I recall (which is where those sigs came from), and people brought up that people often see in themselves whatever the test shows them, so they really aren't all that accurate. I mean, it's an Internet test. It could be just a fun thing to do, I suppose, but people shouldn't put any stock into them.
EDIT: It might not have been this test in particular, but it was something similar.

Yup, it's based on the Myers-Briggs personality test. This one, however, seems to be a better one than the one I posted, and it also has an additional quiz that tests multiple intelligences. I'll post my own results later.

Its a little different from the one that Asta posted but yeah its close.

But the reason it seems so accurate is that people look for the qualities the test tells them they have, even if they're not necessarily true or dominant. It's the same kind of way bad therapists can plant ideas into your head by asking you leading questions.

Yea I fixed it, force of habit.

If I understand you right you're saying that it can bring subserviant traits to surface and seem dominant. That may be true in the case where a person carefully picks apart every question but if the test is taken quickly and on the basis of instincts on every question then it can prove rather accurate. I can usually tell when a note is off key, not sometimes, not rarely, so I choose usually. Takes less than a second to figure out the answer and requires no deep thought of how the question may effect the results.

I often wonder if im the only extroverted person on these boards. :/

No, it's not just the questions. People see the results and start thinking, "Hey, I am kinda introverted, and yeah, I'm pretty logical most of the time... seems right to me!"
The categories are so vague that it's going to seem accurate to pretty much anyone.

That's me. A couple of the answers I didn't really know or was indifferent too, so I just picked one.

Perhaps, but I like to think that if one moves through it at a brisk pace without over thinking it, it can work on something of a subconscious level. But that's just my take on it, agree to disagree?

No, I can't, because that's not what I'm talking about. And the subconscious level here is exactly the problem.

Me thinks that Tonchiki should try the test and see if his theory is correct.

How on Earth could I do that? I'd probably fall into the same trap I'm discussing. For this test, I'm saying the self is the most unreliable witness/subject of all.

But if you know yourself well, you should be able to agree or disagree with your test results. Come on, won't hurt to try. *nudges*
