What is the meanest thing you have ever done to a person?

I once poured a can of beer on a girl at a party. Aside from physical harm I think that may be the meanest thing I've ever done.

What is the meanest thing you've done that you are able to recall?

I am, for the most part, a pacifist so I have never done any physical harm to someone but I do recall that back in 8th grade my friend did soemthing that made me mad(can't remember what though) and I grab him as he tried to run and I dragged him down and we fell into some muddy water. That wouldn't have been so bad if it wasn't for the fact that he had his Yu-Gi-Oh card deck in his backpack which was ruined when we fell into the water. I felt so bad I went out over the weekend and spent a lot of money and bought him a lot of booster packs and gave him some of my own cards to make up for loss.

I know the answer to this without a doubt. When I was young my family was a little more well off (lasted until I was about 8 and we became dirt poor suddenly) anyways, I was quite spoiled until then. One Christmas years ago we were at my great great grandmothers celebrating opening presents and I opened her present to me. It was this little beanie cap and I was so disappointed because that was all I got. I never said anything but I pouted and acted like a little kid. I look back on it now and just hate that I was that way.

My little sister acted the same way last year on Christmas when she didn't the get right toy from our grandparents. She wanted littest petshops and got something that was similar but because I wasn't what she wanted she got mad and started pouting. I wanted to spank her and tell her to stop acting that way but I couldn't because its not my place to discipline her.

I would've gotten the crap beat (spanked, not actually beat) out of me if my dad was there. It was my moms family though and they're a bit more...lazy. Still, I think the kids that are like that usually end up growing out of it, I did. At least, I like to believe that kids like that grow out of it.

One day when I was really young I went with my aunt to the grocery store. She had polio has a kid so she had a really uneven walk. I started imitating her walk making fun of her and she ended up crying later at home.

I still feel HORRIBLE about that. ._.

Agreed.

The meanest thing I've ever done to someone is to ridicule them for being themselves. I was an ass when I was younger.

The meanest thing i've done is I punched a guy in my class, right in the face. He had it coming but it didn't feel too good. I'm just not that mean.

Probably telling someone off. Or knocking a girl out.. but I don't really feel bad about that, she so was asking for it. (It was a fight. She hurt me, and I just had to make her stop).

So, yeah, telling someone off. Calling someone a name to their face (or behind their back). Or saying something bad about someone behind their back. I used to tell people off a lot when I was younger, and now it only happens on occasion, when I'm really ticked off and the person is acting like a total douche. (And then I'll feel bad later and apologize, even if the person seemed to deserve it).

However, whenever I get caught up in my frustration, and say something mean about someone either to them, or behind their back, I feel really bad and end up apologizing eventually.

I used to talk behind this one girl's back in grade 8 (last year) with my friends. I kinda feel bad about it now...:/ She was nice, even if she was annoying at times.

I'm sorry but I totally disagree with that last statement. It completely strips off your obligation as a sibling to be of benefit and support to your other siblings. I'm not saying *discipline her in the way you stated, but at least offer her some advice and show her the better way.

It is your place, and it is your role to help, support and assist your siblings and even the wider community in being better. Otherwise, our societies will sink even further into the abyss of individualism that we already suffer from.

So yeah, help your sister, help your family, help your community, help the world =).

I think to some extent everyone is. Being young and immature and all.

In 5th grade, someone was making fun of my accent and I got really mad so I put my hands through her hair and pulled her to the ground. She hit her head on the carpet. I think that's the meanest thing I've done. I'm usually gentle and like a crybaby. I can admit that. Unlike some other people in this world. Like that evil girl who made fun of my accent. God, I could have killed her.

I can easily hurt somebody with my words, and I don't even notice that I hurt others... so probably that. Very-very bad thing, I should think before I talk, but it's very hard to kick the habit. I'm trying though.
