ZU great Hat off

Let the great hat's of ZU be known! It was raised on scrapbook, and now it makes its way into reality! Hat off....begin! I'm calling you out Mattocks, you Canadian fiend!

I'll start with something simple

Thank god for laziness. I was bored. Blame Mattocks, I'm sure this is his fault somehow.

I love hats but mine's just a baseball cap and I don't post pictures of myself on the Internet so there.

that yamaca is epic win, I might post on tomorrow or Friday or never, I don't know yet.

And now ZeldaUniverse, I give the winner of the Hat-Off, Mattocks and his awesome. Let me guide you through this wonderous adventure, with explinations, stories and awesome. And please keep in mind, I do have more hats, they just either happen to be at my friend's house or are nothing special worth mentioning (like my Leafs hat).

Let's start off with my all time favorite, and every day hat.

Yes, my favorite NHL Team, the Anaheim Mighty Ducks. Since they have become the Ducks, it has been near impossible to find anything from beofre the name change, even at the supposed biggest hockey store ever, who sell Atlanta Flames jersey, they have no Mighty Ducks merch. I go nowhere without this hat. It came to prom with me (along with my tux T-shirt), my cousin's wedding (again, with the T-shirt), it has been run over by a bus, left at Mandarin, blown away while on a boat, chewed by a rabbit, and been melted together when the plastic size thing broke.
BEST HAT EVER.

While we are looking at sports teams, we shall see two more. Moving from the Mighty Ducks to the Ducks first of all.

It is a sad day today. The Ducks in their glory managed to humble themselves and let the Leafs have thier first win last night to save them some embarrasment. How noble of them.

Moving on, with the Olympic being hosted here in Canada and just around the corner, what would a hat collection be without a Team Canada Roots hat?

I believe this was from the 2002 Olympics, which was the first on our hockey gold medal streak. Quite warm if I do say so my self.

This hat collection isn't the opnly thing I collect. Some may describe me a s a pck rat, so here is where two of my collections meet.

I collect pins as well and keep them all on this hat. I try to get one from everywhere I visit, as well as anywhere else I can get them. i've never counted, but I'm sure I have well over 200 pins on there, not o♥♥♥♥ing doubles.

My friends and family have affectionaly called this one the "Holstien". It's named after a teacher my dad had as a kid, who then ended up chaperoning on my grade 7 Quebec City trip.

He was one of those old fun story telling types, who always wore a hat almost exactly like this one. His name of course was Mr. Holstien.

I don't know the name of this style of hat, or quite remember exactly where I got it, but it's a kind of cool comfy hat.


This next one is a little too small for me, I got it at Value Village for 50 cents.

Everyone's gotta have a fadorah.

A couple years ago I had a halloween costume which everyone liked. Friends, family, teachers, and random girls running up to me at school to take pictures. I wasn't the only one with this costume, but I was the only one who pulled it off with such style and swagger.

Pani, that one's for you. From a halloween pimp to a cam pimp.

This is probably my oldest hat in my collection and was almost part of my haloween costume this year.

I can also moon walk.
I've had this hat as long as I can remeber, don't know where it came from, just that it used to be in our dress up box. It's just rubber, so it's been bent and tattered a little, but it kind of flattens out again when left alone.

Some people would decribe me as awesome, amazing, delicious, awesome, and a jester of sorts.

These pictures just keep going and going and going...

I got this at a trade show I went to with my dad and thought it was hilarious. I worse it around the palce for about an hour.

That's me with the rabbit ears, with my rabbit, who didn't want to put her ears up.

I have two of this hat, and they actually have a story behind them. You probably don't want to hear it.

But you're going to anyways. In grade 8 my dad went on a cross Canada school trip which wook out as far as Calgary (for some reason, I don't think they went to BC...). His firends had brought stuff to exchange along the way, for Calgary, it was lacrosse sticks. So they stopped by a school out there, and in return for thier sticks, they got the cowboy hats. Rather nice ones too. But the story does not end there. He made friends with one of the girls there, and they stayed in touch. A couple years ago at my parent's 25th aniversary party, her and her husband surprised them by showing up, and as a gift brought my dad one of the sticks he had left with them. Kind of cool, and that's it for that story.


OLEY! Hahahaha, and I've never even been to Mexcio.

And finally for now, just a plain old, simple, yet practical sun hat.

I've got a few of these sitting around the house. I like them.


That's all my interesting hats I can find right now. As I said, there are more (including a captain's hat, and fur hat) at my firend's house, and I'll get those up as soon as I can.

Also also, those are actually three different hats. Two are twelve dollar truck stop hats and the middle one is my actual good hat.

I have a million baseball caps and a cowboy hat somewhere (can't find it), but that's about it.

The hat I wear every day is this beat-up old thing, same one I always wear in my avatars.
