Tonchiki, no offense, but can you just drop it? You are ruining the point of this thread, telling paranormal stories. Just make your own thread about how much you hate the idea of ghosts if you are so fired up about this.

But if ghosts are just energy imprints of a living body, how can they even have clothes at all? Clothes are not part of a human being.
That is a good question but some would argue its because of imprinted memory. Basically the energy imprints recall clothing. I dunno. You can ignore this. :p I really dont have an answer for that.

Also, guys, its ok if Ton doesnt agree or believe. Many people dont believe in paranormal stuff. Hes a skeptic and he has a right to be one.

More people than me have expressed their disbelief in the subject in this thread. But when people start spouting "close-minded" crap to me, especially me in particular for no real reason, I'm not going to sit by idly. I don't care what thread I'm "ruining", people need to use their brains more when they talk to others.

What?

That's what my video was for.
It explains in full detail what it is to be open- and closed-minded.

Again, I'm not gonna sit here and be called close-minded because nobody wants to hear a view that differs from theirs.

I don't want it stated as fact, if it cannot be proven.

Urm...Mr. Okami, I think you could benefit by watching that fantastic video Tonchiki posted, if you're going to resort to personal insults because you have differing beliefs...

That's real mature, Sam.
But I was referring to the fact that you said to me the exact thing I've been saying to all of you. There is no evidence-- therefore, it is not fact. It's not I who needs to prove a claim, but all of you who are telling these stories. I'm not making any positive assertion, you guys are.
If you haven't seen it yet, watch the video I linked to, it's a good watch.

Re: Real paranormal activity

I'm just gonna post a little story in here...

So, I live in Montana, and my dad was born in Baltimore. When he was about 15, his family moved to a ranch in Meteetsee, Wyoming. They lived there for about 5 years, and then my dad went to law school at the University of Montana (where he met my mom...) and the ranch was abandoned. A few months ago, me, my dad, and my sister drove to Wyoming to visit my grandparents... a few hours after we arrived my grandmother showed me a photo. Apparently, there is a family that wants to buy the ranch property. Their daughter, who I believe is about 20, went to the old ranch house, which is littered in rubble and is old and shabby, and snapped some photos. In one, which was a window at the back end of the house, had something strange. In the top left glass pane... was a face!
Now, you may think it was a reflection, but the light wasn't right for there to be a clear reflection in the photo. The face was blurry, but looked vaguely like a young boy. My grandparents looked at the photo, and remembered that they were told the previous owners had a son, who, after an argument with his father, inhaled Cyanide gas, killing him.
I was creeped out by the photo, and asked my dad to drive me and my sister the 30 miles to the ranch. When we arrived, we entered the old house. I snapped a few pictures in the living room, when out of the corner of my eye, in the old bedroom, I saw a shadow move across the doorway!

Needless to say I had enough evidence, and I ran outside, to where my dad and sister were waiting in the car.
It might have been my imagination, but yet it might have not...

Tonchiki: You're free to believe whatever you want but the point of this thread is telling paranormal stories. If you want to discuss how they're illogical/stupid then make a different thread and leave us alone.

All people that attacked Tonchiki: Knock it off! If i was a mod I'd erase your posts and might even consider infracting some of you(Mr.Okami).

You know, everything cooled off before you guys brought this back up again.
Oni: Again, I was far from the first one to mention how I don't believe in the paranormal here.

Re: Real paranormal activity

Tonchiki: I'm aware but you stuck out the most to me. Still that doesn't change the fact that(by the way this isn't exclusive to you) this is not the place to discuss whether or not the paranormal exists it's a place to share ghost stories. Now if someone does not post a ghost story then they are doing nothing more than spamming up the thread with off topic discussion.

Re: Real paranormal activity

I'm actually surprised that no one responded with my "everything can be explained scientifically" post. I expected at least one person to outrage at that.

not that I'm complaining or anything.
