I want to be a Vamp!

I really don't know why, but I love vampires. Really it isn't because of The Twilight series or some of the new Manga out there. My reason for wanting to be one is because of the classical Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel series that were extremely popular around 1997. However In Victorian literature the vampire was a symbol of sexual attraction and fulfillment. The gradual abandonment of masculine-dominant figures in popular literature has resulted in the vampire gradually representing an obsolescent typology.Plot lines in films ignore traditional Euro/British folklore and allow far too much imaginative freedom to unschooled screenwriters who are responsible for altering the entire image of the vampire with invention incongruent with traditional stereotypes. Which in this case it kinda saddens me.

Well lets go to the point! I want to be a Vamp! Wouldn't you like to be one as well? What do you like about Vamps? Is it because of the Twilight series or another media? Or you just think that blood sucking is cool? (well i do, I think its sexy)
Do you even like vampires? Or are they just Florine annoying? Do you think because of the media vampires have become over rated?

(As a matter of fact I am also trying to revive this Vampire group in ZU that was created almost a year ago. You can find the link in my signature. I wish we could have active members so we could have more vampire fun!)

I went through a short period in my teenybopper years when I was reading LJ Smith's Nightworld series when I wanted to be a vampire xD, and I used to watch Buffy and Angel, too, but I wanted to be a vampire slayer at that point. Gawd, silly child xDD

Not so much anymore, though, but probably the most recent thing I wanted to be was a Mistborn from Brandon Sanderson's Mistborn series. Woo.

I'm related to the first damn vampire (Vlad), so that automatically makes me a vampire. In the classical Victorian sense of course, not that Twilight ♥♥♥♥.

Of course, I've always did want to be a vampire hunter ever since playing Castlevania. . . the way he whips baddies and throws all types of weapons at undead things. And then he kills Dracula. How awesum is that?

As long as it's not one of those Twilight "vampires."

I want to be a vampire in hopes of looking like a total douche, just like this guy:

Oh, I don't know, I wouldn't mind glittering in the sun like that. Imagine how interesting sun bathing would be. And he's like a vegeterian vampire, so like he'll probably have great calorie intake. I see the perks.

Any way sorry about the commotion, but why are there so many vampire haters?
Well I guess there would always be haters.

Vampires are just as interesting as the other creatures of it's kind - the most well known being the Werewolf (or Lycanthrope) - but to me nothing beats Demonology.

Also, I never understood the belief that garlic, sunlight, or stakes through the heart had any particular effect on Vampires. Most stereotypical weaknesses are absurd. Like silver to a Werewolf. *scoffs*

Demonology and Angelic hierarch's are my preference, though I specialise in all the categories.

I wouldn't want to be a vampire. I don't understand the obsession with any of the supernatural creatures that people make up. If I wanted to have some supernatural power, I'd much rather it be something useful - Like shape-shifting (not just to a bat.), control of the weather, control of time, etc.

The stereotypical vampire drinks blood and can turn into a bat. Boring...

But on the other hand the vampire obsession doesn't necessarily bother me. It's better than the zombie obsession. God, I can't wait until that stupid fad dies.

If i had to be a vampire, i would not be a Twilight vampire. Those guys are weak sauce. Id be an Anne Rice vampire. those guys may be fruity but they kick ass!

Vampires in general are pretty cool.

Yes, they are. But I don't know, nowadays vampires everywhere - maybe because of Twilight, maybe because it's a trend now - and it bores me.

Hmmm indeed strange. I really didn't knew that. I would sure like to meet someone that has that disorder. I dont think is strange but it might be pretty cool, ignoring the fact that blood tastes bad. If I ever get to know a person like that I would surely interviewd her or him.

If I had to choose to be some mythical creature/human-like thing, I'd be an "angel", or rather, a person with sick, white wings. Bad ass right there.
