Logically speaking I can counter any argument against the existence of Vampires (and all 'mythological' creatures, for that matter) with the simple fact that there's no way to say there isn't. No it's not. It really is an "either there is or there isn't" argument. Vampires will not exist purely because a person (or even if many people) believes them to exist.

Anyway. You have to be the one to come up with evidence that vampires exist, since it's impossible to prove an untruth (thus impossible for us to prove that they don't exist.)

And no, the fact that we can't prove they don't exist is not evidence to say they do.

Oh, I wasn't suggesting it was. But it's the same principle behind the argument of God's existence. Sure, there either is or there isn't, no-one's disputing that. But since there's no proof either way, anyone's free to argue for or against, because nothing can be proved for either side.

Thus I can logically argue that there's an equal possibility that they do exist, since there's no actual evidence to the contrary. It is but general, popular belief that says otherwise, nothing more.

It's a double edged sword.

(Oh, and JSYK, I'm not necessarily talking about the Twilight version, or even the mythological "combust in sunlight/stake through the heart" Vampires. )

Yes I am aware but i assumed the majority of people on this thread would be intelligent enough to realize what i meant.

Why does no one want to sparkle? Quite honestly, I'd love to sparkle everytime I stepped out into the sun. It would certainly be an attention-grabber--and I thought most people liked shiny things.

Well really I don't need evidence to be a Vamp. As I can see from this thread, many people are trying to discourage my wild imagination by saying that Vamps. aren't real and that I could never become one. Of course that is true. Well to some extent. As long as can pretent and role play anything is possible. Ya should know that I don't really care weather they are realistic or they are just a secment of peoples creativity. What I care about is that I would one day turn in to a "bracula". Blood sucking or not it would be fun.

Evidence points to that vampires don't exist because there is no evidence supporting most of the things about them. Sunlight, stakes, garlic, and especially crosses & "holy water", are all things it makes no sense to be deathly allergic to. Also the idea that they're "undead" makes no sense either.

(It doesn't matter what kind you're talking about; although what kind you're talking about, if neither of those, I have no idea.)
