I never cared much for vampires, and my distaste for them grew when in this class, "Hero's Journey/Fear and Trembling". The first half of the year, we studied darker writing styles, monsters, archetypes, and so on and so forth. During the study of Vampires, I really started thinking a lot about how exactly they'd live if they existed. Sometimes they're seen as undead, sometimes not. Sometimes they are written about as needing blood to survive, sometimes people write about them as just wanting blood because... well, they think its nomable. In any case, the more I thought about them, the more I was disgusted. What happens if they bite into somebody with AIDs? Do they transmit diseases? If they're dead, why doesn't their blood coagulate? If they're not dead, why exactly do they need to bite people? Why not attack a blood bank? At least that way they wouldn't pick up nasty diseases. On top of that, they're supposed to be very.... sexual. God knows what they've picked up from their many, many victims.

Eh.... I dunno, when I think "vampire", I think "eeeew". I'd never want to be one. Plus, having fangs like that... I'd surely bite my lip far too often. Having a cold sore or something would be painful as hell with those constantly jabbing into it. Yuuuuck.

The only reason you say you're a vampire is because werewolves and frankenstein don't get laid.

You argued against me and then made my counter point for me.

Logically speaking I can counter any argument against the existence of Vampires (and all 'mythological' creatures, for that matter) with the simple fact that there's no way to say there isn't. Empirically speaking, I have as much of a logical stance in saying they do exist as you do in saying they don't.

Thus, as I said, it's down to your point of view/personal beliefs.
