Lou Albano, a famous wrestler, most famous to video game fans as the voice of Mario in the Super Mario Brothers Super Show! died today.

May he rest in peace.

WOOOWWW..... a real mario brother has died... so sad. I don't think I can ever watch another live-action show based on a video game ever again... Not that there are that many, anyways.

The games will be the same of course, but to the those who grew up watching The Super Mario Bros Super Show, The Lou Albano Mario is how we always pictured Mario in non sprite form, even the cartoon version because he did the voice acting as well. So while the games will always remain the same, a part of the Mario culture will forever be lost to those who were there from the beginning of it all.
