Is it wrong for men to cry?

I cry a lot, usually during movies though. I don't cry much other than that.

I can't see why it would be a problem for a guy to cry. If it's exsessive, it will get annoying, as with anything else, but there isn't a problem with the simple act of crying.

Nah. I don't cry. Prolly would but I'm not a cryer. But there's nothing wrong with it. However, men don't seem right when they cry. When a girl cries I want to comfort her and stuff. When a guy cries, I wanna get away and never speak to them again. I'm joking of course, but there's something wrong with it. I think it's the weeping that gets me. Manly weeping is weird.

I think it's right for a man to cry. Sure, whe it's not at a funeral, it's somewhat uncomfortable, but it's still Ok in my opinion. It's better thgan bottling it up. The last time my bro bottled it up, he kicked the wall once and made a hole. Without hurting himself

I didn't cry at my dads funeral.

I had a mental breakdown two weeks later in school.

It's called being a human being. Human beings leak from the face when they are sad.

Really the only time water comes out of my eyes is when I got something in them and they get a bit teary.

Crying for a man just seems... Odd. Men are supposed to be the emotional rock that comfort and do something about it, instead of breaking down in tears because of what happened.

But then again I haven't gone through anything very tragic in my life, so I wouldn't know whether or not I would cry in that situation.

At first yes, I used to find men crying slightly weird but my opinion has changed. When I began working in the criminal courts, it became quite common to see male members of the victims family cry or even get hysterical. Some defendants (male) used to cry as well when found guilty.

At first it was weird but after couple of months it was very normal.

Of course it's okay for them to cry. They're not robots, they have emotions like women do, so why should we torture ourselves by locking our emotions inside us?

I'm one of the ones who cries. There's nothing wrong with that. Nothing... odd. And there's nothing... odd... about someone who doesn't cry.

The social stereotype of "men don't cry" is ridiculous and just plain annoying. I cry loads of times when the situation calls for it. Holding it in will eventually just drive you mad.

Of course, crying over simple, everday things isn't good, but that goes for women too.
