oot stuck in the water temple

I got to the water temple and up to the point where you go into the locked room and raise the water level (the block floats so you can get to it) I died and when I came back into the temple it started me from the entrance and now I cant figure out where I'm supposed to go the walk through says to go where i first saw Ruto and put a bomb by the crack to get a key but I cant find that area. Can anyone please help.

rofl ok well first off this is gamecube zelda and this belongs in zelda 64. just for future reference. ok well as to your problem im sure we have all had our troubles with the water temple so we can all feel your pain. ok well go into the temple and sink to the bottom. the water should be med. height if im getting your instructions right. go into the room where u first met ruto or there should be a "triangle" of tourches and some pots with a door on one of the sides of the "triangle". float up and you should be infront of a wall with a crack in it. set a bomb infront of it and there is a key inside. hope that was indepth enough. if not PM me and i'll try to explain better.
