I like Savage Labyrinth; it's easier. (at least, if you're not using any cheats/glitches whatever)

Re: Savage Labyrinth vs Cave of Ordeals

The Cave of Ordeals is definitely harder, especially the second time through. I have to use Great Fairy's Tears, Special Chu Jelly, and two fairies. For the Savage Labyrinth, I just need one sip of Grandma's Soup (TWW equivalent to Great Fairy's Tears).

The reward is better two. The Cave of Ordeals puts fairies and the Great Fairy (who supplies Great Fairy's Tears) in each spring. The Savage Labyrinth (apart from the Triforce Chart) just gives you a Piece of Heart (ten rupees in the Japanese Version).

the cave of ordeals definitely. especially when you charge right into the room and end up having to fight 3 darknuts at once

Re: Savage Labyrinth vs Cave of Ordeals

Cave of Ordeals was harder, largely due to the presence of some very annoying enemy combinations (Freezards and ice lancers. Ugh.) and the room at the end with four Darknuts in it. Savage Labyrinth was a joke in comparison. Not very savage at all. Nor was it technically a labyrinth.

You first have to find a Special ChuChu. I only know of two locations. One (I think) is the path in Hyrule field where there are a lot of ChuChus (The walls are made of rock and there is a rock 'ceiling'). The other is one of those openings in the side of Death Mountain (where you climb a grating to get into it). It is the one opposite the exit of where you find a chest with a Piece of Heart.

Re: Savage Labyrinth vs Cave of Ordeals

The Cave of Ordeals is harder, possibly more fun, but I was disappointed by the scenery. The Savage Labyrinth was more interesting that way. Eh, I guess I like them both equally.

I know what you're talking about. The first place you refer to is the Great Bridge of Hylia, over Lake Hylia, right??

And I think there's a third one somewhere in the Ordon Ranch, I think.

Re: Savage Labyrinth vs Cave of Ordeals

I like the Savage Labyrinth. Although I dunno how the Japanese players could settle for ten freakin' rupees.... Plus, the CoO gets you pretty much infinite rupees, it's like a bank that was abandoned. I'd say they're both rocking, but I don't like those dang combinations, either. (In CoO, I mean.) I guess both, then, as far as how much I like them. Cave of Ordeals is waaaaaaaay harder, though.

Re: Savage Labyrinth vs Cave of Ordeals

we are forgetting that in savage labirynth you can use the grappling hook to get supplies on worn down enemies, so ita easier, but has a lot more rooms than CoO

thereīs my vote

Re: Savage Labyrinth vs Cave of Ordeals

cave or ordeals you have to fight 4 iron knuckles in the end instead of 3 the second time around i have a hard enought ime fighting 2 wasted so many bombs,

savage labirynth was easy just some really easy hard spots and that was it.

Yeah, that's the place. I hadn't played in a while (my disc somehow got scratched and I can't play the cutscenes in the second half which is preventing me to play).

I wasn't aware their was a third place. I don't remember any ChuChu's in Ordon Ranch.

Re: Savage Labyrinth vs Cave of Ordeals

I'm only saying Cave of Ordeals because I finished that one and also because it felt more challenging. Now if only they had it in Legendary mode like Halo....

Re: Savage Labyrinth vs Cave of Ordeals

Cave of Ordeals was much harder than the Savage Labyrinth. I haven't even gotten halfway through the whole place. My farthest was maybe 30 floors, but that's it.

And for anyone who hasn't beaten Savage Labyrinth (I know you're out there somewhere), remember to use arrows. Lots and lots of arrows.
