TP Ending Problem

hi im very new to this site but not to zelda and i just finished the story in TP but after the credits it brought me back to the title screen..i figured it just automatically saved it so i loaded up my file and it took me to the front of hyrule castle with midina still on my back...is this just the way TP ends or did i do somthing wrong?

Zelda's end like that.
They stick you back right before the boss.
Occasionally they will throw in some easter egg for beating the boss (Like Tatl antisipating what happens at the end of MM), but usually, no, nothing happens.

i might be mistaken because its been a while but orcina of time didnt end that way did it?

Yes ocarina did end like that. After the "dance scene" (my favorite ending) it does some stuff which I will not say due to spoilers, but after it saves and what not, it just starts you back at ganons tower,

It doesen´t save at all? Thats why it happens
