Why is he fat in this one? I know that sounds sarcastic but I really want to know, why? Also, he seemed more laid back and carefree until the end. It was like he knew that this was a video game and had seen the spoiler videos leaked out from the Japanese version before it was released into the US and thought to himself, "To hell with it, I am gonna loose anyway!" Any thought?

he's not fat, it's just his bathrobe thing, making him seem large, it's probably an edit of the king of hyrule's character model, as for ganon knowing it's a game... hmmm, maybe, or maybe he thinks he's going to win, because this time around link is younger, and not in an actual warrior's tunic

Perhaps, but I like the comical idea of him eating too many Magic Beans and getting bloated! xD I really don't know though, your probably right on the attitude subject of Ganon, maybe he is just not that intimidated.

Yeah, sounds about right! lol. Where the hell did that big bird of his come from anyway? It kinda looked like the birds in TP....only more colorful!

according to SSBB, it's the Helmasaur King from ALttP, but seriously, how can a big fat lizard, be the same as a large bird with feathers? The helmaroc king (the big bird) was probably created by magic, or it's a kargaroc (little birds from WW) that had a spell put on it by ganon to make it big, and it's colours change, and ganon gave it a helmet (so if it got lost, and someone found the bird, the helmet would have something on it like "the helmaroc king belongs to the king of evil ganon, please return to the forsaken fortress as soon as possible, little ganny gets lonely without his birdy... I mean, uh, return it to the forsaken fortress or die!")

I think he just took way too many underwater trips to "Hyrulian Hamburgers" .

I know what you mean though, I guess being sealed he didn't really have the options of exercising and just let himself go.

Here's a thought, Ganon has no idea he's going to fight a so called "hero of time" any time soon. So he just said the heck with it and spent his sentance watching the bube tube. Then when he finally gets free he finds out all there is to rule is an endless ocean! "Ah...the sun...the surf, who cares about some crappy ten year old twerp, I'll finish him off while I work on my tan. And drink out of my coconut cup."

And yeah, Ganondorf isn't that fat. He is just like the King. I think they wanted to match the two, just like Tetra and Link are both "kids", the King and Ganondorf are the "adults" of the story.

Looking at his strange proportions, the bulging out part is not his stomach but his chest. He was calmer and more controlled because he got to think things over in the Sacred Realm, resulting in a more experienced and even-tempered Ganondorf. Since WW Link was so young, he didn't consider him much of a threat since the only one to defeat him was adult OOT Link. That all goes out the window after the King steals his wish and Hyrule is out of his grasp forever.

Actually, it was stated in a theory that "Roc" means big bird and "Saur" meansbig dino. According to this, they BOTH ARE prehistoric beings and that they both are masked. Appereantly, if im not mistaking, ALttP took plae like MANY years ago and the Helmasaur King appeard in that time. We could speculate that the Helmasaur King could've evolved in that time and turn into the Helmaroc King or either Ganon did some kind of spell that turned it into what he IS now.

Hes always been a big man (by which I mean large, not fat) I don't think he looks that fat, maybe they just made him stick out his chest more to look more tough. Well he did seem more laid back I think but I don't think he woulda gona through all of this if he knew he was gonna loose, or maybe he would've and was just being a jerk.

his character model looks like the one they used for Daphnes Nohansen Hyrule, so either of them could just be a heavily edited version of the other, therefore, Ganondorf's clothes look weird

Hey, while we're at it Zelda looks different in every other game too. In wind waker she's a little kid, but in TP she's a hot teen? Hmm...as far as ganon is concerned he doesn't even USE his beast form in WW ether, just a stupid puppet likeness. There are two theries for this, and one of them has to be right.
1:ganondorf just got tired of waiting in his castle, so he played with puppets in his free time.
2:He get's free but he notices there's no army to chalenge him. Except the ten year old twerp, although he's not concerned he decides to bulk up a bit and make himself "look" fat. To make Link a little self-secure?

Given, it is a different look for ganon, but the whole game is kinda infamous for different looks on most of the characters, so it really wasn't that big a shock. He still has the gerudo look, so as long as thats in tact, and he doesn't shake like a bowl of jello, then I can see this design as a good one.

I still say he is fat in WW! xD Also, the reason he is so relaxed and chilled is because he started smoking pot......shhhhhh, he told me this...

Anyway, Zelda pretty much looks the same though. In the "mature" type games she looks the same, but in the "cartoon" type she looks the same but different from the "mature" Zelda.

I was disapointed with Ganondorf's look in WW. I don't care what you say about his clothes or his character model, he was a fat guy. And the worst part was instead of turning into some sort of beast, he turned into a freaking puppet! I couldn't take him seriously at all.

Well as far as the puppet thing is concerned, if you pay attention Ganon jumps up above the rafters then he creates the puppet. I mean I didn't take that thing seriously ether, with a saterday morning cartoon makeup on the game made almost any enemy hard to take seriously. Let's see, here's a question what about Valo? The fact his tail hanged down into the boss room proved how the game was silly.
