Rare Chu Jelly

Is it possible to have more than 1 bottle of rare chu jelly at a time? Once I have a bottle of the stuff it seems almost impossible to find another sparkling chu.

Nope, you can hold as much of it as you want. Period. That is, if you can find it. XD It's the Great Fairy Tears your getting it mixed up with; You can only be granted one at a time by the Light Spirits.
But it's actually possable to have four bottles of Great Fairy Tears. It's just really, really hard... because it involves beating the Cave of Ordeals three times, and with limited empty bottles. XD

I have to disagree with everyone. I've heard that you can only have one bottle of rare chu jelly at a time, just like the great fairy's tears. This could be wrong, but I've NEVER seen a rare chu since I got the first bottle, and I've had it a very, very long time

^ I'm with you. I have only found one rare golden chu jelly and I kept it in one of my bottles. I haven't seen another one ever since. It is just like the Great Fairy's tears.

Usually where you find rare golden chuchus when you already have one in store, it is replaced by a red chuchu.

Kind of related - is there a limited amount of blue potion you can get on WW? As far as I can tell there is only one blue chu-chu that appears on each island. Correct me if I'm wrong, I've never actually bothered to make blue potion.

EDIT: forgot about original question :p I'm pretty sure I've only ever had one rare chu jelly at a time, although I haven't played TP extensively so I could be wrong.

When you get 15 blu chu jelly and bring them to that guy, he starts selling blue potion for 60 rupees.

Ah, I thought you had to bring the jelly each time you wanted a potion. Would make sense for red and green as those are infinite. As I said, never really bothered with chu jelly, seemed like a waste of time and rupees

Anyway, I had trouble finding every blu chu (since the same blue chu does not drop another one a second time when you kill them) It took me a long time to get blue potion.

Nothing, it was a compliment

I always just used the boku-babu (sp?) seeds, you get loads of them and the friendly little forest chap cooks it up for free. As far as I can remember they do exactly the same thing as blue potion.

Or you can give Hollo (The Korok in Forest Haven with the big potion making thing) some Boko Baba seeds, and he'll make you a blue potion for free.

But back on topic, I don't know if I've even had Rare Chu Jelly with me when I went to Rare Chu places. So I really don't know.
But I know for a fact that you can have 1 Rare Chu Jelly and 2 Great Fairy tears on you and you only have to beat the Cave of Ordeals once. :D

Yes boku-babu seeds when they are cooked up do the same thing as a blue potion so I guess there is no reason to get it.... Its better to get that dude to cook them up cuz you dont spend any rupees anyway. But the best healing Item in the game is the Elixir that you can get from links grandma.

Agreed. Although if I remember correctly, the soup doesn't restore magic, whereas blue potion does. I think?

No no, Hollo actually gives you Blue Potion; because if I remember correctly (And I'm sure I do), he makes you the potion because you just got a magic meter. Making you a potion that doesn't heal magic because you just got some deosn't make much sense. =)

strange chu jelly and Fairy tears works at the same way, u can obtain fary tears when u want it,in infinit times, 4 that i dont give a lot of importance to the strange chu jelly.

once when u complete the cave of ordeals u can obtain fairy tears from the great fairy,whenever u want it.

Yes! and 4 that we can only find two ore maybe 3 rare chu jelly.


I forgget one thing, after u complete the cave of ordeals,u can fin alot of fairies in the light springs and also if u talk with the light spirits they can fill one bottle with fairy tears. this whenever u want it.

Thanks, I think I know all I would ever want to know about Blue Potions in WW.

Back to the topic at hand, I don't have any problem finding more than one Rare Chu. I have found and scooped up at least half a dozen. My problem is that if I have a bottle of Rare Jelly in my inventory I can't for the life of me find another Rare Chu.

Normally to find a Rare Chu I just jump in and out of a grotto with a Chu in it until I get a rare one. Easy enough right? Usually I get one with in 3-5 jumps.....unless I have a bottle of Rare Chu Jelly already. Then it's like the goddesses feel like punishing me for being greedy or something. I spent an entire afternoon doing this once to no avail. I got so frustrated I find getting multiple Fairy Tears from the Cave of Ordeals easy by comparison. Right now I have one bottle of Rare Chu Jelly and three bottles of Fairy Tears.

Just a reminder for those of you getting multiple tears by running through the Cave of Ordeals. You need to have at least 1 empty bottle when you talk to the last fairy or she'll dump you in the Lanayru spring without your prize.

I checked my file I dont have any rare chu jelly! Looks like I wasn't any help at all. But it looks like its all ready been cleared up by other people any way.
