WW: Nintendo Gallery: No Beamos

A beamos is the annoying enemy that fires laser beams at you, and their habitat is the forsaken fortress.

The Nintendo gallery has a figurine of every moving thing except beamos. why aren't the beamos involved??? Maybe they're considering them not alive, such as the laser firing bull on the wall in Forsaken Fortress. Anyway i'm dissapointed that the Nintendo Gallery wene the whole mile to every character yet skipped the beamos!! What do you'se think and are you dissapointed???

I think they're was a few other things, not necessarily characters that they could've added to the Nintendo Gallery such as :

Beamos
The Bull firing lasers in Forsaken Fortress
The ghost ship
The common ships you had shoot down to.

Yet we can't all get what we want. The gallery at first seems daunting with over 160 figures, yet after taking only a few days, I think it should be bigger??? Figures of more than people. Yet really the point of this thread, is why no BEAMOS???

What is everyone elses thoughts??

I didn’t really find out about the Nintendo Gallery until I finished the game. I decided to try and get heart pieces that I missed during the game and it wasn’t until that moment I found out how to open the Vault.

I did take a couple of pictures of people from Outset, Dragon Roost and Windfall Island. I never could be bothered to complete this challenge. What did you get for taking all the pictures?

I guess the Beamos have no intelligence so I reckon it was there just to put you off.

Sorry I wasn’t much help.

Well, all the other enemies were alive and created by Ganondorf. Beamos seem to be mechanical and made by the Goddesses as a test object. Because the only place you really see the Beamos is in the Tower Of The Gods and nowhere else.

What about in the other games? There are Beamos in many places, the Gerudo Training Grounds, Dodongo's Cavern, Ganon's Castle, the Temple of Time and Goron Mines in TP, etc.

The Beamos are also in ALttP, TP, PH and MM.

But I guess they're not really classed as a living thing and not worthy of a figure or something.

I think either Beamos were forgotten about, or the gallery can only fit so many in it. The OoT / MM Beamos at least, are clearly living things. Besides having an eye that can open and close, Navi says "I bet it doesn't like smoke to get in its eye!". Here the keyword is "like", something which she wouldn't have said if it wasn't alive.

That's true, but she could also just be saying that so that the player figures out that's what they have to should they want to defeat them.

Either way maybe they just thought that Beamos just don't play such a big enough part in the games.

I have gotten all of the figurines, but sadly, the save file was corrupted. Now I'm trying to find interest in the whole thing again. Beamos? My hunch is that they're not alive.

And besides, once you have Tott there's really no need for any of the other figurines. Although I do hope that the figurine could dance, even if a little...

Once you've gotten all the pictures Carlov leaves the gallery to find more figurines to craft in distant lands. He intrusts the Nintendo Gallery to you, and you become it's master. Yet you can't do anything except look at the figurines, because if I had the power I'd get Manny to get out of my Gallery.

Anyway, apart from that there is no reward for completing the gallery. It's just a fun thing to do, and you need to do it if you're going for 100% completion. all zelda games have their big special side quest, and the Gallery is WW, though in the other games there is heart pieces and stuff as rewards, however for the gallery they left them out. maybe figurines and details on all the chracters is enough of a reward!!! For example OoT has the 100 Skullutulas, MM has the Bombers notebook, WW has the nintendo Gallery.

The armos, and the armos Knights, arn't alive, it even states that they are just things with homing devices towards intruders. Gohdan mechanical yet you still take his picture. It's interesting how in a medieval set world, there are such mechanical things, only made by the gods though. Yet a pictobox is mechanical!!! It's wierd that picto boxes and Tingle were always in termina, and now they're on the great sea, aka, Hyrule!!! Anyway back on topic...

In other games the beamos are actually full bodies, but in WW they are just the eye/ head part, and they actually only fully appear when they're attacking you!!

I agree, except I think the gallery could've fitten them in if they wanted!!

With the amount of things you take pictures of in the gallery, I think half of them have such minor roles!!!

See my explanation at the top of this post!!

As I said armos and Gohdan aren't alive!!!!!! Yet they get figurines!

On another note, I noticed in the gallery, that on the counter their is a figurine of the pirate ship, and on the shelf are figures of other assorted things like that, including some MM masks!!!

I found that it seems daunting at first, but if you take it a room at a time, and when you get into it, it isn't that daunting!! It was actually really quick. It only took me a few days. maybe a total of 15 or so hours! 164 figures seems hard, but in reality, especially when you get up to 8 figures for one shot, such as with Tetra.

I think that the game considers the ships and beamos as inanimate objects or booby traps rather than enemies. That is why they don't work with the figuerine guy.

There, in fact, is. You get the King of Red Lions and Link figurines.

I love the King of Red Lions figurine, but Link's figurine shouldn't have been sculpted with it.

Link's figurine should've been put in the Outset Island room. A two-figure set--one wearing the blue crawfish PJ's, and the other holding the Master Sword wearing the Hero's Clothes.

beamoses chase you, and fire lasers at you. I THINK THAT MAKES IT AS A MOVING ENEMY

Umm, they don't chase you because they're marble pillars that never move. Or, are you saying that the lasers chase you?

Here's my best method to get past the blue Beamos.

Let the blue laser rapidly hit your shield for five minutes. Hopefully, the laser will keep aiming at the same place while you move around. Quickly run under the beam. I know that's off-topic, but because we're partly talking about a Beamos, I thought I'd just bring in this little fact.

I'm pretty sure they were in the Forsaken Fortress as well.

There was only one in the Forsaken Fortress...if you want to call it a Beamos. In one of the first floor rooms there is a Moblin statue on the wall and it shoots laser beams from its eyes at you if you move in the center of the floor.
