I have Wind Waker and Twilight Princess..

And I can't decide which to play through first.

I have already gotten through a lot of windwaker before
and,
Spoiler (Highlight to read):
And I got to the point where you're just starting to collect triforce peices.

I just recently got twilight princess, and I found it quite fun until I got to the twilight realm, becoming the wolf, which I found kinda boring and hard to focus on. Now mind you.. I have an extreme case of attention deficit disorder.

But basically my question is, does TP really get better after the (IMO) annoying first half hour or so? Is it as satisfying to beat those dungeons as say, ocarina of time (which was so good, I played through in like 2 days, no walkthrough, barely slept or ate !) for example?

Re: I have Wind Waker and Twilight Princess..

TP is really good!
There will parts of the game were you will be forced into wolf form again but only in the first half of the game, but it's not as boring as the first time you enter the twilight. I really think you should try to complete the game, it's a lot of fun.The dungeons are very well developed imo, the bosses however could have been a bit harder.

Windwaker on the other side is also very fun (exept for the part were you are right now, which I personally find a bit dull), i guess you should finish WW first and then tackle TP.

WW can be tricky to come back to if you leave it alone for too long. Might have to start over.

I'd say TP because the triumph-fork shards are BOOOOOOOOOOORING and expensive to go look for

and the twilight realm in TP when you are the wolf and collect the tears of light is a little boring, but goes much faster and has more action.

I to find the wolf parts a bit dual. The tasks you get are repetitive and boring. However, TP is a wonderful game so I would advise you to finish the game at least once so you get to experience the greatness of the game.

I would say finish WW first, because you're not that far away from beating it and you'll have to do it sooner or later.

It doesn't take ADD to be bored to tears by the torture TP's opening puts you through. There are two more wolf fetch quests in the first half of the game, so look forward to those with optimism and hope you can get through with them quickly.

Going through the dungeons, you'll sufer from de-ja-vu more than nostalgia. If doing puzzles you've done a million times before appeals to you, then you'll have "fun". Granted, there's quite a bit of original ideas here and there, just not enough to get that bitter ten year old taste out of your mouth.

But then when you have to choose between that and WW's triforce hunt..... You're situation looks bleak.

I see.. well, I havn't played through any zelda games in a couple years now, so maybe it'll be new to me.. maybe my girlfriend and I will play the game together then. she likes being the wolf and I like being link so that could solve that problem

Re: I have Wind Waker and Twilight Princess..

Hey guys, well, It happens that I left wind waker at my girlfriends house , so I played twilight instead.

I beat that first dungeon, and I gotta say, it was probably the best adventure gaming experience I've ever had! it actually reminded me of going in the woods near my house and exploring and stuff.

and the boss was just the perfect difficulty.. i used all the heart pots in the room and i only beat him with 1\4th of a heart left. so suspenseful. and it felt really rewarding to complete the dungeon. and that's the kinda game i like! so i'm definately gonna be addicted to this game for a few days now.

But anyway, yeah, I got that adventure feeling too. It's awesome in TP.

But if you found the first boss hard......I thought it was super easy and TP was my first 3D Zelda, and second Zelda overall.

Well, I didn't die on him , but i found him to be just the right enough amount of challenge. I'll explain

Spoiler (Highlight to read):
It was pretty hard to aim the boomering at the monkey, then at one of the bulbs, before one of them hit me (which hurts a lot) so I kept getting hit trying to hit the damn thing

Re: I have Wind Waker and Twilight Princess..

TP rules, and WW is decent. I'd suggest TP for that good old classic Zelda feeling, though.
