The Unreachable Chest

There is a chest in TP, south of Hyrule castle that I just can not seem to get to. Near the feild where the Goron is stading next to used to be/is a paty blocked by a rockfall. Before you enter the castle there are two flights to stairs. The first one leds to the next. On the first one, going up towards the castle there is a chest with likly 100 rupees in it (I am gussing 100 because of the difficulty to getting to the chest. No matter what I did I could not get to the chest. I tried many things to get to it but none of them worked.

I used to infinite bomb cheat to help me but in the end it did not help me too much at all.

Try 1:The Unlikly Way-I got Link close to the chest which is on a leage too high to get to from the ground. So I tried the jump slice tech. I did not work, even that could not get me high enough.
Try 2: Bombing begins-I tried to do the old put a bomb behide you and then do the jump slice to get a good height and go over walls glitch. I tired it in the middel where there is a curve. It did not work.
Try 3/4-: Bombing And Jumping 1&2I tried the same thingy on the corners where there is less curve and no way to be pushed left or right without hitting the wall. My timing was pretty much perfect but I could still not get pass the wall.
Try 5: Bombing With The Horse & ArrowsAt this point I was frustrated. I backed Epona in between the two cornvers but as close as possible to the left wall. I got out a bomb arrow and pointed it towards the middle of the screen. When it was about to blow up I pointed it at the top lefy cornver, (or as far top lefy as I could go) and let it blow up. (I was trying to make Link fall backwards to the right (where the chest is). Once I got Link on thr edge but sadly he got stuck. He was continually falling and walking back and forth almost going off the edge of the edge. At this point this was as close as I ever goten and did continued jump slices to try to make Link move foward more only for him to move back. I knew at this point I was stuck, I could not use any items (the item background would go light then dark) (useable at the moment and unuseable at the moment.) So I made Link put on iron boots, and the magic armor. Once the magic armor ran out of bucks it got heavier, so combined with the steel boots, Link finally fell off the edge. Link got off Epona and sent a bomb right next to her, on the opposite side of where the wall is. Then I made Link get back on, thinking the bomb since is on the opposite side of the horse would blow Link the opposite way of where it is. I did, but it still did not work.
Try 6:Slide & Jump, Jump & SlideI figured that maybe Link could use the jump slice to get to the edge, one level lower of where Link is (a frew steps). I did only to slide down it, close but not close enough to the chest.
Try7:FINAL TRYAll above was about two days worth of trying. )I spend a lot of time doing the bomb ones.) (Not 42 hours but it took be two days). I wanted to do one last try/method. Maybe if I could get Link to slidedown the edge of the wall and do another jump slice while in the middle of the air, that maybe Link could get the chest. I did so and.....got about 2 millimeters away from the edge of the platform. I tried another fifth times then turned off the wii and gave up.

(I know that ''Try 7'' is likly the way to get to the chest. Chests in the game do not need glitches be accessible. My friend got to it but for some reason I can not. I am going to try method 7 again tomorrow, hopefully hopeful, which right now I am not.

ANY OTHER METHODS THAT YOU CAN THINK OF TO GET THE CHEST?

You use the claw shot to get to the top of that. You'll see a little hookshot target on the pole near the entrance. Use your spinner and jump.

The hookshot does not attach to bars and chests. I am talking about the chest on the platform which is surrounded by water, not the chest near the lake in which you need the 2X hootshot to get to (I got that chest anyways).

EDIT: what she said use the claw shot on the big tall rock tower where those ropes are and use the spinner.

I am not trying to get the chest near the lake. The chest that is near the south gate of Town, the chest is surrounded by water and is on a platform. There are two walls equal length away from the chest and platform. The wall tops are edges in which Link can only slide down.

yes i KNOW use the CLAWSHOT and spinner.

What he keeps saying. Look up on the thing. You'll see a spinner track.

So, I typed all of that out just to be told that there is a spinner track. I sware I looked and all I saw was a platform, a chest, a wall, the south gate, and two gaint pillers that are part of the background......

ok. stand in front of the chest so there are stairs on both sides go up the left look up and see that rock tower? theres a clawshot thing there use it and go up.next use the spinner and when your half way in between the two stone pillars jump off and your right in front of the chest.

.....well that would be helpful, but I tried my method 7 agian and.....got it.

If you jumpslash to the top of the secound to top wall piece, slide down and go a jump slice in mide air you can get to it. Wow, your info was useless I guess. Well at least I NEVER have to get that chest again, unless I am on another file...... :O

That always bugged me while playing in that area.

well at least you got it. and have you gotten that chest in kakrico that one above the path to death MT.???

I got the chest, it's just money, I was really, REALLY disappointed.

Clawshot up, then spinner back and forth until you feel comfortable to jump off to the chest.
