the kokiri in tp

I was just wondering about something, in TP as far as i know there aren't any kokiri right but why. I was curious to see what they would look like with better graphics.

Re: the kokiri in tp

I think there is a chance they are alive and well but they are just not included in the game. Perhaps we will see them return in a future game, i agree that they would look cool with modern graphics. I think that they just weren't important to the storline so there was no need for them in the game.

Mhh they probably hide in the woods (or are extinct?). Agitha is probably the closest thing to a Kokiri you will see in TP.

Why Agitha? She doesn't seem anything like a Kokiri to me.

Mhhh she has a similar outer apeareance to the Kokiri girls of TP (remember that one with the two buns?). She also is close to nature, her house is full of plants, and she's not frightened by wolf Link. And she's obsessed with golden insects (that glow like fairies).
I'm not going to say that she's a Kokiri but she's the closest thing we get in TP.

If I had to imagen a Kokiri in TP style I would think of someone like Agitha with less flashy clothing (it has to be all green and decorated with leaves or some thing) and ofcourse in company with a fairy.

...Agitha? Yes, she is the closest thing to a Kokiri, but she's still Hylian.

Since the Kokiri have "changed" into the Korok in The Wind Waker on the other side of the split, the Kokiri may have changed form completely. Also, we don't get to see the eastern forests where the Kokiri lived in Ocarina of Time, just the forests of Ordona in the south. They might still be around as Kokiri, but we just don't have the chance to encounter them.

Re: the kokiri in tp

The rancher in Ordon is named Fado, which is also the name of the dead Earth Sage in WW, and the name of the Kokiri girl with the poacher's saw in OoT.

Connection? I'm not sure if Fado, or any of the other Ordon villagers, including Link, can be descendents of the Kokiri, because I don't think the Kokiri breed, as they're all just children. In fact, I don't even think they can die of anything other than unnatural causes, because they don't age; they just stay young forever.

But it's possible for the Kokiri to have influence on cultures outside of their own. In WW, the villagers on Outset Island celebrate coming of age by bestowing green tunics on their young boys. Fado seems to be a Kokiri name.

Either way, the Kokiri seem to have left their mark on Hyrule, whether or not they're still around in TP.

And if you look at it Geography wise, the forest, or where Link starts off is always in the South End of the land. Kokiri Forest, South, Ordon Village, South, Outset Island, South...

If this makes any sense at all lol

I've noticed the geographical similarities between OoT and TP, but I never thought about it in WW. You're right about Outset Island and its "southernness" as compared to the Kokiri Forest. However, in WW, it appears that the Kokiri have somehow evolved into the Koroks, and the Forest Haven is a little bit northwest of Outset.

Re: the kokiri in tp

Yea well OoT and TP both take place in Hyrule so thats why. But comparing the so called "evolution" of the Kokiri, they're geographic range is in the southern part of the land. Then Forest Haven rises from the sea and is a home of the koroks, still located in the south, but just a but more up from Outset Island.

But for the whole Fado relation thing, the geographic range of the Kokiri proves that Fado could have lived and passed offspring through these generations from OoT to TP, to WW. You get me.

That makes sense.

That also makes sense, except for the question of whether or not the Kokiri breed. Do they ever grow older? The sign next to the exit of the Kokiri Forest and the Kokiri boy who guards it both imply that that any Kokiri who leaves the forest will die (this does not include Link, as he turned out to be a Hylian, not a Kokiri). Does this immenent doom from leaving the forest happen because the Kokiri, children of the Great Deku Tree, cannot live outside of their guardian's magic? Or is simply because the Deku Tree thinks the world is too dangerous for the Kokiri, who no nothing ouside of the forest, to survive in? Or is it possible that the Kokiri start to age when they leave the forest, which would enable them to breed and pass on their customs to descendants? Perhaps it is possible for Kokiri to survive outside of the woods, as implied by a secret gossip stone located behind the Great Deku Tree, which says that "there is a rumor that a Kokiri actually left the forest and survived!" (not a direct quote, but it said something like that)

If not Agitha or Ordonians, could it be... monkeys?

Re: the kokiri in tp

Possibly they died out when the woods were infected? or maybe the Kokiri forest is simply not in the game - the Faron woods are very much in the wrong place are they not? or at least with the Hylians there do not have the feel of the original woods of the Kokiri

If I believe, Kokiries ARE Hylians! The Kokiries are a RACE of the Hylian Kingdom, meaning they are hylians but with another race. Not like the Hylians that are borned in hylian territories...

And yes, Agitha resembles a Kokiri in some ways, she must be a refined Kokiry...
