favorite weapon(tp)

i dont know if this thread has been made before but what ever.

my favorite has to be either ball and chain(so much fun!) or the double clawshots

I'm really not liking the way this thread is starting out. There needs to be more of a discussion.

WHAT is your favorite weapon?
WHY is it your favorite?
etc.

There's not going to be any discussions out of "I LOVE THIS" "ZOMG I LOVE THAT!"

So lets see how this goes, and if there's a nice discussion going on, I won't be forced to lock it.

Favorite Item: ball and chain
reason: I like the way it looks and its very fun to use.... but i also like the double claw shots to. Although the sky temple was the worst of all time, it was fun to use them there.

I definently liked the ball and chain but I also liked the combination of Arrow and Owl mask so that you could snipe things from really, really far away.

I thought the Hawkeye was kind of redundant on the Wii. It's so easy to snipe with the bow using the 'mote.

The ball and chain was awesome--to an extent. I mean it *did* act as offense and defense at once (when swinging it around) but moving around with it out was painful.

I love the Gale Boomerang, especially how it looks. They could have expanded more on the Fairy of Winds, though. The boomerang came in handy a good amount of times. I hate keese. All of them. I try to get them all killed before I move across a room. The boomerang works fine for that.

But nothing beats the best weapon: the Master Sword.

The Ball and Chain was pretty much for me just a chance to string together a bunch of cheesy jokes like "It smash stuff good." Also for the fun of wrecking Yeta's and Yeto's house XD

I actually hated the double clawshot. It was fun at some times, but it was so annoying to try and use. Especially when you had to hit far-off targets. Then you spend like 5 minutes lining it up right >.>

However, the bow was easy to use in Wii and quite realistic. I loved just spending time shooting things! XD It was soooo fun!

the Double Clawshot was a really fun weapon. You can go to one spot and right away search for your next place! This thing also made City in the Sky so much more enjoyable.

Ball and Chain was another favorite. If you hit a Redead perfectly it only takes two hits. first time it being sent at it, the second when it comes back to you. Instant death! I have also had the thing block an arrow once... or maybe it was a Ice Spear? Oh another handy use for it. Kills those things fast. But I prefer killing them one on one with my sword.

the Hawkeye and Bow was also a nice combination, along with the bombarrows. Now if only we could combine all three... *imagins being able to snipe an enemy with bombs* ... awsome.

If this is still around, i might update my list. Its one in the morning and im tired so my brain is running kinda slow.

oh...but not for gamecube, even though it was not a big help really ...

My favourite item was probably the Ball and Chain.
My reason being for this because it's very effective and does critical damage.

My favourite weapon in TP was the Ball and Chain because it was so effective against enemies (particularly the redeads which are otherwise very irritating.)

The Master Sword itself.
Why, you ask. Because you can do a helm splitter(shield attack needed), mortal draw, back slice, great spin, ending blow, jump strick......(I think that's all of 'em) That's why.

Why: Spider-Link, Spider-Link, does whatever a spider...never mind. You get the picture.

Spinner, it was just plain awesome. I hope they bring it back but make it so that you can use it more in the overworld.

Excluding the swords, my favorite is the bow, I always liked bows... and I have good aiming, I'm glad Zelda games are so unrealistic that lets you carry 100 arrows.

I never saw what's so special about the Ball & Chain, it's too slow...

Hmm, this is actually a suprisingly difficult question to answer (sue me, I love playing with toys. ).

Though, I think my top favorite would have to be... the Bow, especially when coupled with either Bombs or the Hawkeye. The reason is because you can use it virtually anywhere, it's a versatile weapon (it makes the Cave of Ordeals so much easier), and I like sniping those Bulbins from afar, particularly in the Hidden Village. If you could have used them as often as the bow, my answer would have been either the Double Clawshot or the Spinner.

The Bow, because it's awesome.

I like the ordinary weapons that make Link famous, such as his Master Sword.
