Fado's House
The door to Fado's house in TP remains locked throughout the coarse of the entire game (as far as I know, at least).
Why would they even put it there if there's no way to get in? Just to make things more realistic (sure, the guy's gotta live somewhere)? Or is there something I'm missing here? And, on a side note, does anyone else find it interesting that he has the same name as the Wind Temple Sage from the Wind Waker? Connection? |

Re: Fado's House
Across from Sera's Shop.
They probably did the house thing to make Ordon look bigger. As for the name thing, it was probably a translation error. On a side note, in OOT, the kokiri girl who gives you the poacher's saw is also named Fado.

Really? The girl? Hmmm, it's been a while since I've played OoT, I didn't remember that. Well, the girl with the saw and the wind temple sage were both kokiri. And Ordon Province is right next to Faron Province, where the Sacred Forest Meadow is. Could it be that Ordon lies where Kokiri Forest once was, in the past? Maybe Fado is a descendent of the Kokiri. There isn't really any in-game evidence in TP to support this, but the similarities are intriguing. |

Re: Fado's House
People have used Action Replay to get inside, alas, there is nothing inside. Nintendo probably intended to have a room inside, but got too lazy. There is evidence in other parts of the game as well. Take the bridge of Eldin for instance; in the first trailer released we see Link riding Epona out of a castle gate, if you look closely it is the bridge of Eldin. Nintendo did a copy paste job.

It happens to various games. I remember in a Harvest Moon game, there's a building on your property that's always locked and will never be used. I have my own theory about what it was originally meant to be for, but the point is that they put it there, decided to do something else, and forgot to take it out. Fado's house not opening could be because they just decided to have it there, but use the space in the game for other things. Everything in a game takes up space, so not making the inside of an unimportant house just saves space, though showing that there's a house gives the town more realism. |

Re: Fado's House
You can't entire Fado's house in any part of the game. It's just permanently locked throughout your entire adventure.
I think as someone has previously stated, it was just there to show that Fado had a house to live in.

Re: Fado's House
Its true theres nothing inside the house. I think its just Nintendo being lazy, kind of like the way they "forgot" to give the fisher man legs in OOT.
