Yeta is tough!

I seriously thought that winning the race against Yeta was IMPOSSIBLE. I think it's was one of the hardest things I have ever done. I quit playing Twilight Princess back in June because I could NOT beat Yeta.

FINALLY. Today, I prevailed and Yeta ate snow! DAHAHA!
I am super proud of myself. ^_^

Well done on beating Yeta. I've never actually bothered racing her so I don't know if she is hard or not but I'll take your word for it.

Yeah, it took me quite a few tries. You have to use the shortcuts, or it is impossible to beat her.

What do you get for beating her?

You get a heart piece. I wonder if it is possible to beat her without the shortcuts? It took me a while even with the shortcuts to beat her.

It isn't. I was thumbing through the official guide at Gamestop the other day out of curiosity, and I remember reading it in there.

Racing things are easy, once you get the pattern. It took me a little while to beat her, but in the end I memorized the exact ways to use the shortcuts and it was pie.

Yeah, I did it one the first try, the difficult is to gather all rupees there. Isn't it much easier to race Yeta than the all-space taken Yeti?

I beat her easily.

umm...please don't "curse" in your thread titles... Find a replacing word. You don't have to curse.

Anyways back on topic: Yeta was hard, but I should've known to use shortcuts. I kept on trying aimlessly to win without any. But I understood after a while to use shortcut. However it was still pretty hard... I'm not very good at racing games.

Yeta was so annoying. Me and my cousin took turns at trying to beat her. We figured out pretty quickly that we needed to go the same way she was going or it would be impossible to win; but the route she took was damn hard. After about half an hour of being annoyed and wanting to throw the wii remote at the tv screen we finally beat her.

I found that it was easy to keep ahead of her UNTIL THE END. It's so hard to do the very end right. If you go too far to the right, he flies off into oblivion. Too far to the left and you crash. That part was so annoying! The rest of the race was pretty easy.

At the start of the race if you do a spin attack you will get ahead. You can do this anytime that Yeta is about to get past you
I have done it. I couldn't beat it at all but then I saw the shortcuts....

Can you just keep using spin attack over and over again throughout the entire race?

No you cant because Yeta is constantly changing speed and her position so throughout the race she'll either be too far ahead of you or behind you for you too keep using your spin attack to slow her down

I only found I could use it right at the beginning, and even then it didn't do much

Oh, so it slows her down when you hit her with it. Sorry, I thought you meant that every time Link uses a spin attack, he gets a slight speed boost.
