TP Provinces
I just realized that three of the provinces in TP are named after the godesses from OoT : Lanayru, Eldin, and Faron. Have I just been living under a rock not to notice these? Also, does that mean that Ordona province is also named after someone (the god of the 4th triforce, perhaps...). Oh, and the "Din" province consists of red, fiery, rocky type terrain, home to the gorons, and death mountain. The "Nayru" province is blue, watery and (mostly) calm, home to the Zoras and Lake Hylia. And the "Farore" province is lush, green, and verdant, home to many forest dwellers. This seems a little TOO suspicious to be coincidental...were the provinces even based off the OoT godesses? (This is probably old news, isn't it...)

Yes, they were based on the names of the Goddesses, however, I dont believe Ordon was. In fact, I think there may have been a quote (perhaps it was from one of the characters in Telma's bar), that Ordon actually exists outside Hyrule. I could be wrong, though.

Just to add, some people have made a connection between Ordon and again, Farore.
You have Faron, and then you have Ordon. Seeing as they're in a reasonably close proximity, it's safe to say it's not too much of a stretch to link both areas with Farore. Certainly not definate though, so interpret that how you like.

Yes, they are definitely related to the Godesses. Yes you have been living under a rock. I can tell by the dirt and your pale skin. Joking.
Ordona is outside of Hyrule, as stated possibly by Shad at Telma's bar. There are so many TP threads scattered around, that there isn't much reason to leave this open. |
