Re: 4 swords

I liked it because it was multiplayer. It was Zelda, it wasn't fighting against each other, friends had fun with it too. It was alot of fun to play it.

My only problem with the game was that it required a GBA and a GBA cable for each person. This got annoying. One reason was because we only have 2 cords. The other reason was that if you were at the end of a level and the gameboy went dead then you had to redo the level. That part got frustrating.

Other then the gameboy thing I loved the game.

I always wanted, sorry I should say I still want to try, the multiplayer mode. I sold my GBA for a GBASP and sold that for a DS, no longer needing my GBA cord, sold it. now I can't play MPM. I have 3 GC controllers why can't I just use those.

Oh, the reason you can't use gamecube controllers is easy. Whenever you go inside a door in single player, the room pops up over the screen you're in. If you're playing with several people and one person goes inside and the other stays out, then one person or the other wouldn't be able to see where they are. That's why it's done with Gameboys. When you go inside a building, you see the inside of the room on your screen. It makes it so that everyone knows where they are. It also gets a bit confusing having to look back and forth though.

What if when 1 person entered a room (lets say 4 people are playing) 4 individual screens appeared on the screen for each person?

But the game isn't split screen usually. So, if the game randomly decided to split the screen while playing, it'd make people dizzy pretty fast. It'd also take a second to figure out where the person was, and that'd mean that you might end up losing a could hundred force gems because you were grabbed by a cyclops when person #2 random resized the screen. Overall it'd be confusing and annoying to do it that way, even if it allowed more players. Also, forcing people to use gameboys and connector cables influences people to go off and buy more nintendo junk.

Re: 4 swords

I never played FS, just FSA, but it can't be that diffrent. I thought it was great. The only problems I have with it is that it has more in common with mario than zelda.
Also, I don't see why the heck they couldn't have used GC controlers for co op. Its probly some plot to sell those useless GC-GBA links.

Re: 4 swords

I've never managed to play it, through a lack of nobody having another copy of the game. The same applies for FSA, which I've only managed to play through the single player adventure. I really want to give them a proper go, but I don't think I'll get the chance anytime soon.
