I've been wondering this for a while now and where are the Zoras in TWW because don't they live in water? I mean TWW's map is called The Great Sea so you should see them everywhere::disappoin

Re: Where are the Zoras?
There are a lot of threads already referencing the so called disappearance of the Zoras in the WW.
The popular belief is that they evolved into what we know as the Rito. |

Back-up?
Well, don't get upset now. There remains a slight chance they're Ritos. |

Re: Where are the Zoras?
Yeah I know and why do you all say they evolved into "Rito." They live in water anyway so why would they adapt?

Re: Where are the Zoras?
They would have no reason to evolve. If you lived underwater, and the land flooded, why would you need to change? They probly are living at the bottom of the ocean, just carrying out thier dialy lives.

Re: Where are the Zoras?
Come on people. The Zora's evolved in to the Rito, it's fact! You want proof, try this:
Quote:
For the "Why would they need to evolve" people. Maybe the Goddesses guided their evolution, so no one would discover Hyrule before Link. It would be really bad if the Zora's told people, so they all would try to get to it.

Re: Where are the Zoras?
Take the time to look through some older threads first, then. This topic gets brought up so many times.
To go through it again: "You must find the one who carries on my bloodline... The one who holds this sacred instrument..." The quote from Laruto, explaining that Medli is the one who carries on her bloodline. Also, on the front of Medli's clothing is the symbol of the Zoras, the Zora's Sapphire, further indicating their connection, and pointing to Medli's heritige. Another quote from the game, from Ganondorf, which hints towards the lack of Zoras due to the actual condition of the Great Sea itself. "They are vast seas... None can swim across them... They yield no fish to catch..." So, as we can see, the Great Sea is rather lifeless, with the occasional Fishman/Merman and a small number of enemies. Also, I would imagine a Zoras diet would greatly consist of sealife, namely fish, which gives us another reason as to why they had to evolve. Then of course, it is likely the Goddesses wanted Hyrule to remain unfound. If the zoras were to roam the seas freely, they would easily discover Hyrule beneath the waves, and could pass on such information to any other inhabitants of the Great Sea. Hyrule was flooded for a reason, so any interaction with it would have to kept to a minimum. |
