This is more a General Zelda thread I think.

It's hard to say really, Ganondorfs' character building didn't really start until OoT, although appearing in many games before hand, we only really know of his actions and not his personality, which hinders his previous apperances for me. I actually really liked him in the Wind Waker, his cocky attitude was brilliant and well suited. In some ways I almost supported what he was trying to acheive, I WANTED him to revive Hyrule, even if for evil purposes. Instead of just wanting to take over in its current state, the Great Sea, he wanted the glorious kingdom he had fought for so hard. I think it shows Ganondorf has a soft spot for the place, as much as he does ultimately want to wreck chaos on the place.
So as far as his persona, I like him in WW the best.

Well whether you're talking about Ganon OR Ganondorf I say TP either way. For some reason the fight WAS fun to me despite it being easy I just loved the cutscenes and just the battling on horseback and sword to sword with Ganondorf instead of him flying around. Also if you actually meant Ganon I liked how they finally made him more animalistic in TP and had him charge at you.

In TP,he look really cool.

Of the games I've played, the WW Ganondorf was the best.

Haven't beaten TP yet, so I can't say about that one (I'm about to, though.) Otherwise, I think he was the best in Wind Waker.

And Majora's Mask. He was awesome in Majora's Mask.

Ganodorf was the best in The Wind Waker. Even though he didn't look as "cool" as he did in Ocarina, his character was far more developed and still active in the plot. You actually got to hear his reasoning for wanting to bring bring back Hyrule, and you question if he really is the bad guy.

Ganondorf is the opposite, yet, the parallel to King Daphne Hyrule. Ganondorf wants to bring back the old Hyrule while Daphne doesn't. They both, however, are (or were) stuck on living in the past. Seeing this kind of character development in the King of Hyrule is to be expected, but to see this in the main antogonist is very rare.

I am hoping that Nintendo will bring in a new villain in Phantom Hourglass and Zelda Wii that has the depth of WW's Ganondorf.

It's been said that it's "unlikely that Ganondorf will return in Phantom Hourglass."

Especially when you consider that it's only been a few months in the timeline from WW. It would be odd if Ganon was able to break free within only a few months.

I think WW Ganondorf was the coolest, especially in the final battle with his twin swords
