Lakebed Temple

I just finished this temple. I've from a few that it was the worst temple. My girlfriend and her brother didn't even do it without an FAQ. I managed without. It was a slight pain in the butt, but nothing horrible. What did everyone else think? I kind of enjoyed the staircase puzzle. The boss sucked for the first half. It beat the crap out of me and I had to finish his second half off with only a half heart! And I had a bottle of milk, red chu jelly and blue potion that I couldn't use during the boss bottle. Plus I accidently jumped into the boss room before grabbing a fairy from a bottle. >< But otherwise I enjoyed it. ^^

The Lakebed Temple was the hardest for me, too, up to that point. The next one is worse, in my opinion. Bunches of enemies come for you at once. That sucks.



I was very frustrated with the staircase puzzle... and nearly gave up on the boss (name?). That was one bad-arse boss, by the way.

Morpheel was in no way challenging to me, but that puzzle was some challenge...

You had trouble with the boss? Understandable, if you have never played OOT. My main probmlem was that I would get lost easily since everything looked the same.

Yes, it was the most tricky. I had to use the ZU help thread for one of the rooms. Overall, I think, the temple was great, but tricky. A lot better than the OoT Water Temple, but that's just me. I really enjoyed the boss. Morpheel was friggin' amazing.

I agree with this guy. Even second time around, I had trouble getting through it. ._.

A little frustrating, but not that difficult. OOT's water temple, that really was a pain in the ass

Its symmetry makes it more challenging, in my opinion. It is kinda tricky, but well-designed, and had a cool mini-boos and awesome kick-arse boss (Morpheel is easy, but very epic). Plus uderwtaer swimming rules.

It's not that Morpheel was difficult, it's just that everytime I went hookshot the eye towards me it seemed a tentacle would grab me in. So I kept getting drawn in RIGHT before I could hit the eye. I did think it was amazing when it got out of the ground though. =D

I agree... it wasn't that he was TOUGH, it was my frustration level went through the roof because of trying to swim, get close enough, and aim for the eye all at once. Maybe it's my inexperience w/ OOT baddies, then?

the water temples are always the hardest but my sis did it without the walkthrough. I hate that Temple! especially it's boss.

nah, since you needed to keep up with morpheel that makes the diffrence.

I actually liked the Lakebed Temple. Though it reminded me of the Water Temple in OoT a bit in appearance. Maybe they're the same temple? Anyway, Morpheel was a fun battle too. Although I had a bit of trouble with him.

hahahaha. My sister hated the temple and the boss. I never really played the game so I don't know how i feel about it. In my oppinion the City In the Sky looked like it was the hardest dongoun

Out of all the water-themed temples in the 3D Zeldas(Water Temple, Great Bay Temple and Lakebed Temple) this is the one I liked the most. I think one of the reasons is because is wasn't as frustrating as the other 2. It was a bit confusing and anoying just like all the water temples, but I enjoyed beating it more than the others. The boss fight was alright, I didn't like the first part but the second one was cool

I couldn't find lakebed temple. I had to have a friend come over and show me. Then he beat the temple and didn't let me play it. -__- I wouldn't let him save it though.. so I went back later and did the whole temple. It was my least favprite temple.

I found it because it was marked with a big fat red circle on the map (Wii version). You didn't have the marker? Or you didn't know how to use the water bomb?

I think the Arbiter's Grounds is my least favorite so far.

why is it that water dungeons always suck?
and lakebed temple is no excuse
plus always knowing that your fused shadows
are gonna get stolen right after
and you're gonna get cursed
and midna will get mortally wounded
and it goes on and on and on.....................................
