Bomb Upgrades

Everyone knows there are 4 kinds of bombs available at Barnes Bombs.
But, the actual reason why I this topic, was to discuss the last upgrade.
The little insect bomb. Well, does this "bomb" actually have a purpose, I mean. It's not necessary to beat the game.

you mean 3 kinds of bombs?

Could be. I don't frequently visit the bomb shop, though.

Then I guess not 'everyone' knows how many types of bombs there are. =P

But to answer your question, no, they're not necessary to beat the game. It's just there to be a cool little thing to play with, I guess. It does have a use though, it crawls toward the nearest enemy and 'splodes them.

Maybe they just thought since you get 3 bomb bags, they should give you three different types of bombs so you can have one in each. Or maybe it was the other way around, I dunno.

Thanks. And actually, I prefer to throw my own bombs instead
of a lil' machine that crawls towards it.
