Things that made you sad in twilight princess(spoiler warning)

DO NOT READ ON UNLESS YOU DO NOT CARE ABOUT SPOILERS This is a thread to post anything that made you sad in the game. Not things you disliked about it but things you liked because they made you sad.

for me, the ending cutscene where midna goes into the twilight realm then breaks the mirror.

And how lonely and mysterious the sacred grove area is with the dissapearance of skull kid and all( i spent hours looking for him and only found some of his puppet things)

Also colin seemed so sad all the time.

What made me sad was how Midna turned uber-hawt but then couldn't stay :0S *sobs uncontrollably*

The very beginning when Link's friends get kidnapped. Reminded me of Aryll getting kidnapped in WW.
When you catch up with Ilia and she doesn't recognise you. The look on Link's face was so broken.
Lastly, the end. Midna seems like she is going to stay, or at least leave the mirror intact, but instead she steps through and shatters it. I think I sat for fifteen minutes in front of the TV in shock at what just happened.

Most definitely when Midna destroyed the mirror. I kind of lost contact with reality at that point I was in such a state of "WTF!?"

Probably watching the ending. All the way through after Ganondorf is killed.

- When Ilia doesn't recognize you. I think it's the saddest scene in the game

-The ending, cause i wanted more T.T

I thought for sure that the Zora kid was supposed to die and I almost emailed Nintendo when I saw him lieing there with Illia.

Definatly the lack of sidequests that ued 2 amuse me in recent games such as MM and TWW

A lot of my sadness from TP is related to Ilia and Link. When she can't remember him and also at the end when he leaves her and Ordon behind.

The unfathomable feeling of disappoint I felt as I played that grew exponentially as I played farther made me rather sad.

Definetly the ending scene...

-Ilia loses her memory. Made me feel forgotten

-Midna is so excited to be her true form but dosen't turn right away. I felt bad for her

Yeah.

My saddest moment was when Ganondorf has Midna's Fused Shadows in his hand while on that horse. I thought she was gone for good.

One sad moment that almost made me cry was when Ilia wouldn't recognize me. I felt that there was a sort of connection between her and Link until she lost her memory.

Another was when Zant injures Midna and you have to take her to Zelda to be healed. I was so connected with Midna's character that I felt like I was losing a loved one. The music really helped out with the mood too. I kept thinking: "Hang on just a bit longer, Midna. We're almost there!"

Yet another was with the Zora prince and his mother. I was so sad to learn that she was killed and the news still needed to be passed on to her son.

And last but not least, I was sad to see Midna turn into her true form. You could really feel the connection between her and Link. She was about to say something to Link (and I would bet five dollars that she would have said "I love you."), but breaks the mirror and returns to her realm instead. That made me very very sad.

Though these are all sad points, I think they were great for the storyline. Not all plot lines can be super dooper happy.

Thanks for totally disregarding my first post about this not being a criticize the game topic.

When Zelda gave up her Life force to save Midna. It was the proverbial Catch-22.

The saddest part for me was when Midna stood up to Zant when he brought her in to the light world or whatever he did which almost killed her. I thought she was going to die. I was supposed to stop playing afterwards to have dinner or something but I had to keep playing. Couldn't just leave her to die!

Aand when Midna again warps Link and Zelda out of the castle at the very end and then Ganondorf shows up with the crushed helmet in his hands. That was sad too..

*Sniff*.. Yeah.

when i thought midna was gone for good was sad and also when zelda sacrificed herself to save her life. and when we see her cursed. and when she didn't change back now that you think about it theres a lot of sadness surrounding midna

ive never cried but some moments left me bummed out bigtime
