Best/Worst Dungeon in TP
For my money, the Gerudo desert was the best dungeon in the game. It didn't start out like a typical dungeon and you got the coolest item EVER, Tony Hawk Link. The Gerudo desert was maybe my favorite Zelda dungeon ever and I've played them all, closely followed by Spirit Temple in OoT and Stone Temple in MM. Moreover, I thought the Snow dungeon was one of the worst I've played. Terrible "story", ridiculous puzzles, and a totally lame boss. Granted, you got a relatively neat item, but it was more fun to use outside the dungeon.

Re: Best/Worst Dungeon in TP
My favorite was Goron Mines because it wasn't boring (you could walk under the water, walk on the walls, and get a cool item- the bow-).
The Temple of Time was boring. EDIT: The Palace of Twilight was $!"%!". Boring as hell.

Re: Best/Worst Dungeon in TP
For favorite dungeon it would be a tie between Temple of Time and Snowpeak Ruins. Both dunegons have, in my opinion, the right level of difficulty. Call me crazy but I actually enjoyed the ice block puzzle.
It's difficult to choose the least favorite dungeon, as I like them all. I guess I would have to say the Palace of Twilight. That hand FREAKED ME OUT! Every time it came after me I wanted to throw the Sol and run for it! |

Re: Best/Worst Dungeon in TP
This is a toughie. My favorite is either Temple of time, because the whole premise was cool, and I felt it was well laid out. Also, I enjoyed Arbiter's Ground quite a bit too, just because of the spinner and the boss.
My least favorite is the Water Temple. They always are. I've never played a water-themed dungeon I enjoyed, be it in OoT, MM, or even OoA.

Snowpeak Ruins. I really enjoyed that dungeon. It kinda of added a nice twist to the game and I thought it looked stunning aswell.
The worst dungeon for me is the Water Temple. I wasn't fond of the one in Oot and same goes for the one in TP.

Re: Best/Worst Dungeon in TP
I like the Goron Mines. The mini-boss rules, as do the dungeon item and three Goron elders. The boss was easy, but fun. And the Yeti Mansion. The way it operates is totally new, and I love the pumpkin & cheese soup. Granted, the item was hardly used outside, and the boss was retarded, but I like it.
My least favourite has to be the City in the Sky. I spent ages getting there and all those missions were really fun, the best part of the second half of the game (with the possible exception of battling Zant), and once I got there, there wasn't even an Oocca villiage. They were scatter-brained chickens. Also, I thought the item would be Roc's Cape and it was just another Clawshot! A good idea, but not worthy of a dungeon item. No, wait, the Palace of Twilight is worse, by as long shot. So much wasted potential.

Re: Best/Worst Dungeon in TP
Twilight Princess had some of the best dungeons in the entire series, the puzzles were a big step forward.
I really enjoyed Lakebed Temple, quite surprising after the abominations Water Temple and Great Bay Temple. I also liked Snowpeak Ruins, it kinda reminded me of Forest Temple from Oot in that it actually tries to resemble something, the atmosphere weren't as tight, but the puzzles were even better. My least favourite were Arbiter's Ground and Goron Mines. Of course I'm not counting the filler dungeons Twilight Place and Hyrule Castle.

Re: Best/Worst Dungeon in TP
I do not like the forest temple in TP, it's freaky and I don't really like the layout in the dungeon.

Re: Best/Worst Dungeon in TP
I loved Snowpeak, City in the Sky, and Lakebed. Snowpeak and CitS because they were very unique and has an awesome atmosphere with fun puzzles and great boss battles, and Lakebed because it was a classic Zelda temple. I also liked Goron Mines, but I have to say the rest range from mediocre to absolute worst in the series.
Palace of Twilight and Hyrule Castle are the worst dungeons in probably any Zelda game ever. Palace of the Twilight is just boring with no puzzles, no fun, and just no effin' thought put into it. You'd expect more from the Palace of Twilight, but it is absolute garbage. Luckly, the Zant fight was pretty cool, but it wasn't enoguh to redeam the horrible dungeon that suffers from lack of anything fun and horribly boring design. Hyrule Castle is not as bad as Palace of Twilight, but it has the worst design. It's so unrealistic, and usually that's okay for Zelda temples, but this is Hyrule Castle! Are you telling me that Zelda, King Hyrule, the soldiers, and anyone who visited Hyrule Castle had to clawshot onto the chandellers in order to reach the second floor? Besides the bad design, the level itself just idn't fun. You'd come to expect more from Hyrule Castle as you can see it from far distances all over Hyrule Field, and most of the major cutscenes took place there, but it just consists of effortless battles and simplistic puzzles that you can skip over if you choose to.

Re: Best/Worst Dungeon in TP
Best: Snowpeak Ruins- I found the Snowpeak Ruins to be quite enjoyable, and in so saying, it must be my favorite dungeon. My favorite item was the Ball and Chain. I got it in the Snowpeak Ruins, so it provided me with my all-time favorite weapon. It also had a fun boss, although Blizzeta wasn't my favorite boss, it was one of my favorites. And let's not forget the puzzle and enemy difficulty. Some of the puzzles were confusing, and some of the enemies were a threat, or kind of a threat. This made the dungeon a bit of a challenge, and therefore my favorite dungeon in TP.
Worst: Fire Temple--- The Fire Temple wasn't bad per se, just not my favorite. It was my least favorite for good reason though. I found the Fire Temple rather the least exciting dungeon in TP. The monsters were easy and dull, and the dungeon itself could have been better decorated. Not to mention some of the puzzles were plain-out boring, and I thought I would have rather not done them at all. Walking on the walls and ceiling via the Iron Boots was the funnest part of the dungeon. The mini-boss and boss were also too easy, and I thought they could've been harder. This all sums up to make my least favorite TP dungeon. |

Re: Best/Worst Dungeon in TP
Best: Arbiter's Grounds. It took that great "hunt the poes" concept from OoT's Forest Temple, and made it work far better, but not take up the whole dungeon (my one problem with OoT's finest dungeon). Plus, the Spinner was an amazingly original item that was used well, the miniboss and boss were extremely fun to battle (easy, but fun, which is of course the whole point of them in the first place), and I liked the whole Egyptian theme. Worst: Hyrule Castle. While by no means the worst dungeon in the series, this |
