Re: TP Easter egg extravaganza II!

Not sure if it is but have we discussed those dolls that are in the windmill house in Ordon? They look slightly like Skullkid in a strange way? Also, I dont know if it is a EE but if you look at Skullkid's face in the Sacred Grove, it reminds me of the moons face from MM.

That's Ocarina of Time. There is no Lon Lon Ranch in Twilight Princess.

Here's Zelda's Lullaby:

Here's Minda's Theme:
D A E

I started them on the same note purposefully, so you could see there is no similarity.

First, you have to admit that Zelda's Lullaby and Midna's Theme do sound similar.

Second, doesn't the word "sol" in Spanish mean "sun"?

Third, sorry for the double post...

Re: TP Easter egg extravaganza II!

I dunno if this has already been said or if it's an EE or not, but I noticed that Rutela the Zora Queen's theme has virtually the same melody as Serenade of Water from OoT.

It means sun in both languages which is why chipman said it appeared in multiple europen languages, probably latin because it's not the the English (germanic), German (also germanic) or Irish (celtic/breton) word for sun.

As for you and anyone else who has mentioned a musical connection between TP and OOT. Just about every song in OOT was re-re-mixed into tp so stop mentioning them because that's not an EE as much as it is lasyness on the desiners part, not that I've got anything against OOT, TP or the desiners of either game.

That´s because all those languajes come from latin. And in latin the word for sun is "sol" or "solis". (I seem quite a scholar, like shad!!!)

If you go to the Kakariko Bomb shop and light your lantern, the guy warns you, do it again and he pulls a lever, soaking you with water.

Re: TP Easter egg extravaganza II!

The fortune teller messages were new to me but almost all the rest were old...
i knew most of them because i like searching for easter eggs.....
here are some of of my own...

-Gor Ebizo's character has been in both Oot and MM and still hasn't changed a bit...
-The small goron elder also has a striking resemblence to Gor Ebizo's son in MM
-The three provence's names are siminlar to the three godesses: Lanayru Eldin and Faron provence sounds alot like Faore
-(not really an egg but...) Each of the sages had a picture on thier robe corisponding to who they where, except in Oot, Zelda was the seventh sage leading to the fact that their could have only been 6 sages who had Gannondorf
-also the sage who was killed's picture was never shown, making him the "Zelda Sage" because Zelda never had a medalion
-also this has been in EVERY 3-D Zelda game but, the horse race theme is the same theme as the Mario 64 slide/koopa race themes...
-Bulbin are obliviously replacing bokoblins
-The "Gold guy" hakes the same noises as the man who buys poes in OoT
-One of Midna's noises made when you select the "talk to Midna" button during the first visit the Hyrule castle sounds like "Nintendo" played backwards
-Also Midna doesnt have a reflection in the mirror inlink basement in wolf form

I'm thinking, no. Don't get me wrong, they are very similar, and to the untrained ear (not that I am a trained one) it could easily seem like a remix. When I read that, I went and compared the two songs, and I had trouble discerning if they could possibly be the same or not. However, I finally settled on they are not the same. If there is proof otherwise, show me, cause it would indeed be interesting.

Wouldn't more people have pointed that out when Ocarina came out anyway? They are just similar. The horse race is Old West Ranch style (with a few bacon bits), whereas the slide is just a fast paced crazy song designed to fit the mood of sliding (and being inside a clock).

When they show the sages talking to Link, one of the medallion pillars is broken, signifying the dead sage. The broken one is the Water Medallion, so the Water Sage is dead, not the "Zelda Sage."

There are Bokoblins in there two. You know, the purple/blue (both varieties) things, with grayish hair. They are all over the place before the Forest Temple, then appear a lot throughout the game.
