Midna needs to lay off the pies. (Spoilers)

I thought there should be a topic for Midna! I personally think she is the best character in Twilight Princess... she always has something interesting to say and it's mostly her journey.

Link just wants to save the small children so he can get back to his peacefull life in Ordon Village. Midna wants to rid of Zant, save her whole kingdom and in turn save the whole world... and once again give Ganon a slap for his evil deeds.

Yeah Midna's great. Oh, and I think you should edit your title to give people a heads up that there's spoilers in here. But back on topic, I think Midna was a really great character created for the Zelda series. She had a great personality.

I think Midna had great design but her much praised personality really isn't anything unique to me :> I think she's pretty stereotypical angry heroine with mysterious past, will for vengeance and yet, she's all good and loving inside. I guess what makes her unique is that she's after all pretty different Zelda heroine/guide compared to, for example Navi, a blue ball of light.


Some spoilers ahead -v------

I was actually looking forward to that Midna would've turned against Link after getting all fused shadows...but somehow of course it was more predictable that she'd continue as an ally and help Link and develop to Links level in heroic actions --"we gotta save the world, both Twilight Realm and Hyrule etc etc now I realize how meanie have I been etc".

My bf started gritting his teeth and mentally banging his head to wall, when Midna turned, shortly to say, Jesus. The way she beared everyones sins and sacrificed herself, that's what he meant. I wasn't that much bothered by that, but I can't say I was touched by Midnas "death".

Unfortunately as much as I tried to avoid TP spoilers, I had seen a picture of Midna's other, 'real' form so I wasn't that much surprised...I loved that one though, she was elegant, strong and simply gorgeus sight.

First I got disappointed that she broke the mirror in the end. I had to think about it a little to settle my feelings and I guess it wasn't that bad after all, though it was bit over dramatic yet...somehow...very intoxicating, the way she broke the mirror. Beautiful...somehow...yet so cliched. Ack.

Overall, I think she was nice change and actually helpful. But sometimes in temples and such, I just got frustrated if there were jumping situations that Midna did nothing about yet I know she could've D:

I gotta agree that Nintendo did a great job creating a new character. I hope that we can see her in upcoming new games.

I think she helps you a bit too much.

I didn't like the creepy sound she made when she helped you.

This pretty much sums up her character. All I ever hear is ultimate praise for her, but I can't understand why. I mean, sure she's refreshing after the two featureless fairies of Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask, and the story of her and Zant's relationship is interesting (if a little vague), but overall she's just another guide for Link, albeit with a far more important role in the story.

No, because if she wasn't in the game then TP wouldn't be the same or even created.

nah... she has sexy hips lol. I like Midna as a guide more than Navi or Tatl (theres another thread for this) But no Midna plays an awesome role

Ah Midna, yes indeed she helps way too much in the jumping as a wolf, but I guess if some of us had to attempt thos jumps on our own we would have had many cheap falls. I loved the Midna character, I like that out of all of them she seems the closest to having a voice. (Is it just me or does she make sense from time to time when you call her? I could swear I've heard a 'what do you want?' and other barely intelligible phrases.)

And the way she took on Ganondorf at the end and we see him holding her helmet up triumphantly....I almost cried at the thought of her dead.
Needless to say my jaw hit the floor when I saw her true form, I was speechless, her beuty had taken my voice.
I was so angry that she destroyed the mirror of twilght at the end and I thought it just wasn't fair, you can tell from the way they behave toward one another that a love intrest was forming between them. The one Link to truely have a strong and difinative love intrest and she cuts it off. ;_;

Well Minda is the Twilight Princess thus comes the name of the game lol. She was a way better partner than the fairies can ever hope to be.

Dude why did you change it back!? You've just spoilt what Midna looks like for me.

Midna is indeed one of the best Zelda characters ever created. (such a bold statement)

She was helpful and not annoying like navi and tatl.
She looked sweet and nintendo did great work with showing her emotions.
slight spoiler: I loved how after beating the puppet Zelda, Midna puts her arm on Link's shoulder all calmly and she gets that look on her face.

The only problem with midna is her lack of knowledge of creatures i.e. no 'z' targeting and getting info about the ennemies, but that's not a big problem at all.
