What do you think would be the best thing they should have put in TP?

I personally think they should have added in an instrument besides howling. That I think would be the one best thing when you think of all the incredibly useful songs they have made in the past (like not have to wait the whole boring night/ day cycle with the song of passing.)

They should have added the Fierce Diety mask. That would be the best thing ever.

I totally agree. I wish they put in a Ocarina.

Boss replay mode. You could either fight them normally, or go through a survival challenge. The survival challenge would reward you with two mysterious maps that lead you to the Kokiri Forest and the Gerudo Valley (the Gerudos live in the valley, not the desert.)

3 things come to my mind. for one, everyone agrees that there should have been somewhat of a trading sequence. 2. there shoudl have been more things to do in hyrule field. Its so big yet theres almost nothing to do other than get the odd heart piece here or there and there are mabye 3 caves in all. and 3 was the biggest thing for me. There was nothing to do inbetween the temples. when you finish the snowpeak mansion you jump straight into the temple of time. thats it.. no side quest.... you just go straight to the temple of time. This happens alot throughout the game. it sadly made it feel very short. its a very good game though. and for the previous posts i miss the ocorina to

there's lots of things i would have added but there's millions of things they have that i would never have thought of so my following suggestions are made kindly.

1) trading sequence(s)
2) optional dungeons (one with a fire arrow and one with ice arrows)
3) lol at least 1 more shield and tunic. and armor that runs on money = 2 thumbs down
4) Lanturn should consume fuel way slower so you could keep it out almost all the time at night.
5) the bosses are epic enough we just need them to be harder/stronger/smarter.
6) no sections in the castle town please. its so annoting to have to load 3 screens when going through the city.
7)more sidequests like the one with ilia's memory.
8) items should be used again even after the dungeon where you find them.
9) i am not a fan of the howling music thingy so make sure there's an instrument.
10) more items should now be found from beating an enemy who wileded it like the guy with the ball and chain in TP.

Well, pretty much everybody else has said is on my list.

But, I think they need:

A bunny hood
Harder Bosses
More Side Quests
Cooler Items
The Dominion Rod needed more uses.
Getting only 4 heart pieces instead of 5...I found that stupid
They need songs with uses besides Epona's song and that Bird song.

I did like the howling concept though, it was neat, but ultimately useless for other than getting those skills.

Yeah I agree with most of you guys. TP needed some kind of instrument, Epona's whistle doesn't count, it only plays the same song over and over again, how boring. Besides it came way to late in the game, by that time I already had most warp point available, so it was kind of useless.

I really wanted the mirror shield to make a return, as in the previous 3 games. Atleast they put in some nice items to compensate for it.

A real trading sequence would have been nice, not that cheap one at the beginning of the game.

They should have created a Goron Sumo Wrestling minigame. Sumo Wrestling was extremely fun in the game, alas you never can experience it again after defeating Gor Coron. As a matter of fact this game needed more minigames overall. I miss the shooting galleries. The only real minigames are Fishing and Rollgoal.

I don't really agree with many of the ideas here. I was surprised at how much I did not miss the instrument. I think that Twilight Princess was supposed to be a more realistic Zelda and ice and fire arrows aren't very realistic. That would have to bring the magic meter back and I really liked the fact it was absent in TP. And boss replay mode? In a Zelda game? Some of these suggestions are good ideas , but it would be like mixing ice cream and sushi. Ice cream is a great food , but it doesen't compliment sushi. It doesen't make it better.

Why wouldn't that work? It did in Majora's Mask. The bosses are fun, and it can be tiring to go through the whole game again just to fight them.

Developers are unfortunately pushed to release a long-awaited game, unhappily leaving out ideas that most likely aren't only shared by you guys, but the developers themselves. So I can understand minor grievances. Overall I think the game was awesome. Really the only gripes I have about it are the fact that the music wasn't orchestrated. How awesome would it have been to fight Ganondorf to a full choir type thing much like the one played during anakin's and obi wan's fight in star wars III? And yes, the bosses are much too easy. Most were just take a look and "oh, there, got it." I can also understand the fun of replaying a boss, but take a look for a minute and try to think of a way to integrate a thing like that into the game without it being stupid.

not all the items need to have uses outside the temple they're found in. I personally found it quite enjoyable beating someone over the head with an oversized ball and chain. I don't need a small puzzle to tell me this thing rocks.

People are welcome to tell me how else to use the dominion rod outside it's temple and relocating those 5 or 6 owl statues. think for a minute people, what else is there to do with it without it being pointless?

I wasn't griping at the devolopers, it's just that everyone has some suggestions and I'm sure there are some devolopers out there who come and look at this sort of thread for feedback.

I'd like TP to have at least one trading sequence and more places to spend rupees. I liked it when you needed to spend all that money to build the bridge and take over the store in Hyrule Town but more of these rupee-spending-activities would've been welcome.

The armor, for instance, should have costed thousands of rupees instead of the pathetic 256 or something.. it defeats the purpose of the malo store having great prices though.. but it could have been sold elsewhere.

I agree with these comments, I never really missed the instruments either. I would've missed playing music in some way but they delivered in this area by introducing howling and playing that grass with the A button (like in the old-school Zeldas), you even got a tiny instrument - or whatever it was - to call your horse.

Having the ocarina/baton and playing notes has only been done in 3 out of many Zelda games, so I haven't really seen it as a standard in Zelda.

I also agree. I thought the howling sounded very...unZelda-ish. But, it's something new that's never been done in a Zelda game. Even though it wasn't an instrument, atleast some of the howling songs were Ocarina songs from the past. That gives it good points. *nod*

It worked in majora's mask only because the story allowed it to. every time you played the song of time, those three days went back to day one, so of course the bosses would return.

however, this is not the case in TP. The only real way for them to include a boss replay type thing is to make it a selection seperate from the main game, which just isn't zelda. It would just be wierd and unnessecary.
