TP: Afterthoughts
I just finished the game and wanted to discuss certain things. I saw something similar before i think, but it can be nice to have a "afterthoughts" thread too.
Post whatever u think after completing the game. After the final battle with ganon, we have talking sequences. Ganon was saying "this is not the end", well of course as always. Yet i think it seemed as if they were foreshadowing for another game in the making. But then for the first time we saw his triforce mark leaving hin, this made me think. What if this is a hint for this to be the final zelda game? Whats your thoughts on this? |

Re: TP: Afterthoughts
IMO the Triforce of Power will always somehow make it back to Ganon. Like the Triforce of Wisdom will remain with Zelda and the Triforce of Courage will always be associated with Link. But only time will tell.

Re: TP: Afterthoughts
Did it leave him? Or was the ToP turned off?
In tWW we learn that the Master Sword is a key, the key that locked away Ganondorf's power. Once it was pulled out of the pedestal he regained his full power. in TP this could be the very thing that happened. TP Link doesnt really kill Ganondorf. However he did disable the ToP from working. Then this seal was to last until the MS was once again pulled out. So basicly its tWW fault that Ganondorf has his full power again.

Except for the fact that the Master Sword is returned to the pedestal, meaning that Link (maybe even Zelda since she was there) pulled it out of Ganondorf with no fuss. Since it was pulled out and was returned with no problem, I'd say that is good proof that Ganondorf is dead.

Re: TP: Afterthoughts
ganondorf is 'dead' (at the end of TP) which means that he can be reincarnated or revived. The master sword absorbed the ToP and sealed it within the pedastal. When tWW starts it says the great evil again crept forth again from the depths of the earth eager to resume its dark designs = ganondorf coming back to life searching for his ToP. he doesn't kill link at the beginnig of tWW becasue he's positive that this will be the child to again pull the master sword and attempt to destroy him. In letting him go ganondorf knew his powers would be restored. Ganondorf says the sword acted as a key which sealed annnd kept his powers intact.
