Question TP Rupees=annoying. *minor spoilers?*

Any Rupee over 1! Why does the game announce you got a blue/yellow/red/purple rupee EVERYTIME you pick one up in a new dungeon, or anytime? It's annoying. I think we KNOW a blue rupee is worth 5 from playing previous Zelda games.

So what's the deal?

And if there's another thread on this, by all means, tell me where, and end this one.

They tell you the amounts every time you reload the game.

I think it's just a glitch. Very annoying though.

Yeah, that's what I know, I'm asking why.

Something that big would be an easily noticeable glitch. When you enter a new dungeon and pick up a rupee, does it do it once, or for every rupee type?

I'd say it's a glitch as well, and it is rather annoying.

It happens every time you turn the game off and then play again. It happens the first time you get a certain ruppee but not green ones.

And when you enter a new area...or even the one you left...but, at least it doesn't say "hey" each time you get one. Though, it's annoying, but you can't have a Zelda game without at least one annoyance!

Re: TP Rupees=annoying. *minor spoilers?*

I have another question... If it's a glitch, then the game designers know about it, right? Would they be concerned about it?

Well, think of it this way: at least you don't have Navi yelling the values of the Rupees at you.

well yes.. they should tell you the first time you find a blue rupee... not not every single time.

i got so frustrated during battles when everything would stop.. just to tell me i picked up a rupee.

Still, after the first time you find that particular rupee you should know its worth, memory takes over after that. It be horrible if all the songs in Oot were taught to you every time you needed to use them.
