Re: Hardest Dungeon & why?

Not that any of them were 'stuck on one puzzle for days, tearing your hair out with frustration' hard but that block pushing puzzle had me stumped for at least a few hours. The Lakebed's waterflow mechanisms were a little tricky, and I was also stuck for a while trying to hookshot the pull down switch in the main room of the Sky Temple.

I don't think any of it was too hard (OoT Water Temple) or too easy (pretty much all of tWW), I reckon they got the difficulty level pretty much spot on this time around.

My only, 'god I hate this game moment' was the whole moving statues to get the master sword.

Re: Hardest Dungeon & why?

City in the sky was the hardest IMO, I kept falling! And the puzzles were to hard

The 1st part of the boss reminded me of the bird at forsaken fortress... mainly because it was blowing wind at me and swooping down to attack.

Re: Hardest Dungeon & why?

Lakebed annoyed me a little, especially since I missed a heart piece and had to go back to get it later on haha. It was still fun for the most part but it was somewhat hard.

Do you speak English?

City in the Sky. I was stuck there for ages, falling off random bridges and wondering what I was supposed to be doing. The boss was awesome, though.

Re: Hardest Dungeon & why?

I didn't find any of the dungeons particularly difficult in the traditional sense, so it would be unfair to say this due to a difficulty factor.

What didn't inspire me or thrill me was the Snowpeak Ruins. In its defence, it was a nice twist on the traditional "temple" theme by being introduced as a home overrun by enemies, but other than that it just didn't jump out at me.

The main factor was I've never really been a fan of segments of a game on ice. The entire concept of your player character sliding all over the place, enemies freezing you and all of the pitfalls that come with snow levels has never grabbed me. And the boss fight was sub-par at best.

Re: Hardest Dungeon & why?

Not that any of them were that hard, but Lakebed Temple did confuse me somewhat trying to redirect the water flow. Also the second room with all the spinning cogs, the one with loads of clawshot targets, gave me trouble trying to get all the chests. The only other problem I can think of is when I missed two of the Poe spirits in Arbiter's Grounds and had to backtrack for them.

Re: Hardest Dungeon & why?

arbiters grounds because i'd get 4/5 of the way thru it then i'd fall and have to go way back. oh, and the city in the sky for the same reason.

Re: Hardest Dungeon & why?

The lakebed temple was long-- but if you kept experimenting, you got somewhere.

Snowpeak ruins was hard. I couldn't figure out how to work the cannons-- kept thinking I needed a new type of bomb-- and once I did I had to keep backtracking myself to find them again.

Hyrule Castle was frustrating, but only in one room where you have to light all four torches. That was difficult.

Re: Hardest Dungeon & why?

I put down Arbiters grounds but i now wish i had put the lakebed temple, It just went on and on and on and on. And when you got to the boss it was just this big old boring worm thing, the coolest looking boss so far (and im up to the sky city) is either fyrus or the big skeleton thingy in arbiters grounds

Re: Hardest Dungeon & why?

My hardest dungeon was the Palace of Twilight. The part that made me mad the most was trying to bring the Sols out of the palace while that stupid hand followed you around, and it took me forever to figure out how to get to Zant on those floating platforms in that one room.
