Hardest Miniboss

As the thread name says, what did you find as the hardest miniboss, I would have to say the Guardian, I was trying for ages to figure out how to grab him after I had hit him, I only found out late the next night, so he gets my vote.

i chose the guy at snowpeak ruins, god he nearly killed me!

Corrupt Baboon (Forest Temple)

- Well, he was really easy lol.

Guardian (Goron Mines)

- He was a bit hard, I needed to figure out how to kill him at first.

Giant Frog (Lakebed Temple)

- hmm... kinda easy, but again, needed to figure out how to kill it.

Invisible Swordsman (Arbiter's Grounds)

- Hmmm... this one was really easy to be honest.

Knight (Snowpeak Ruins)

- He's not that hard, but he's just friggin' strong lol,
he takes a lot of hearts when he hits ya...


btw, is a Darknut also a miniboss, they were kidna hard lol...

but yeh I'll have to choose for Darkhammer, the Snowpeak Ruins Knight.

The knight. All other minibosses where TOO easy.

That Knight at snowpeak ruins!! I think he was soo hard, actually harder than any off the boss.. I never really figure how to kill him.. Mostly I was hit, then I hit him..he hit me, I hit him.. LOL.. only a few times i managed to miss his attacks by using the clawshot

That'd be a Winged Lizalfos. Not sure if it counts as a miniboss because they're found in other places.

I voted for the Guardian in the Goron Mines. Quite difficult to fight when you don't have a shield.

i think the knight in TEMPLE OF TIME was the easiest mini boss

The official names for the mini-bosses are as follows:

Ook The Baboon (Forest Temple)
Dangoro the Goron (Goron Mines)
Deku Toad (Lakebed Temple)
Death Sword (Arbiter's Grounds)
Darkhammer (Snowpeak Ruins)
Darknut (Temple of Time)
Aerofos (City In The Sky)

Also, you could sort of consider King Bulblin a mini-boss in Hyrule Castle.

Anyways, the hardest to me was the Darkhammer. Although, my favorite was definately the Darknut. I love the sword-fighting combat you get to use.

I guess the knight was the hardest even though he wasn't hard haha. None of them were really hard, but I think the Knight was harder out of the others. I forget, how do you kill the Invisible Swordsman again?

defo the goron mines one for me, i died about 3 times until i worked out how to hurt him LOL

Ugh, the Knight in Snowpeak was hell. I'm terribly slow with the Clawshot, and I was just aiming and suddenly, I was cleaved to death. Took me a few tries, so he gets my vote.

I died fighting the Knight at Snowpeak. I didn't seem to look up at all. I got pwned real bad. I was pretty amazed that I got his weapon. I'd say he was the hardest thing in the game for me. I'm willing to bet he could whoop Ganondorf's ass real bad.

I found the fight with the Guardian to be the hardest, trying to steer him off the platform and he rolls to the edge and doesnt fall offf... >

The Knight in Snowpeak (Darkhammer, I believe it's called) is hands down the hardest mini-boss. I really could not find a sure strategy to attacking, and beat him with around 1 heart left after swinging around wildly like an idiot. The clawshot and ceiling really didn't help at all in the battle...
Does anyone know the real strategy to beating this jerk?

Darkhammer is actually easy for me. Just Clawshot to one of those targets, (to prevent him to closing you up) then he will fling his Ball-and-Chain at you, side dodge. Run to the back of him and slash his tail (He's not an animated knight, just basically a monster under the armor). If you have the Jump Strike, you can easily kill him, in one hit.

I would say... Phantom Zant. I was always too late to slash him before he summons that giant ball of darkness.
