Harder enemy/boss patch?

I was just thinking. Since games like Twlight Princess can be updated on the Wii version, why can't they make a patch to make the enemies and bosses harder?

(I haven't played it yet, but I am aware that a number of the enemies and bosses are too easy.)

I think it woud be a great idea, we should make a petition or soemthing and ask Nintendo to make something like this so we can enhance this already great Zelda Experience!

Re: Harder enemy/boss patch?

Yeah they will most likely release an incremental patch that will give you access to whatever is in other fifth of the disk.

Re: Harder enemy/boss patch?

That'd be cool, but that would require a boss list so that we could fight them anytime we wanted. Honestly, who would want to keep playing the game over and over just for the patch?

Re: Harder enemy/boss patch?

I e-mailed nintendo about something similar to "patching" the game. This is what they said.

Hi,

WiiConnect24 updates are operating systems updates. They don't correct the data that's permanently stored on the game DVD.

Personally, I've never heard of the Rupee Glitch. However, I appreciate your taking the time to share your comments regarding this issue. Rest assured that they will be forwarded to the appropriate department for further review.

Simply to put it, no.

EDIT: This is what I asked them about.

Is anything going to be done to fix it? Like a WiiConnect24 update?

Re: Harder enemy/boss patch?

I don't think that's a glitch, but it is really flippin' annoying. It would be nice to see some Master Quest-like material, though. Ooh, and maybe a fix to the vine-climbing difficulties...

/sigh. That would be nice.

Re: Harder enemy/boss patch?

A simple update wouldn't make the boss battles that much tougher. The formulaic design of the battles is really what makes them so easy, not the amount of damage that is dealt.

Fortunately TP gives you a little more control over the difficulty level than MM and TWW did. You can select which sword to use at any time, like in OoT, so if you want the game to seem tougher then always use the weaker blade. It makes a difference in areas like the fifth dungeon where there are few hearts and common enemies that can frequently hurt you.

Not really. It's more of an HP issue. If you really think about it, TP bosses have much more varied battle patterns than any in the series.
