The Fused Shadow is Majoras Mask.

I have come to the conclusion that the Fused Shadow is inside Majoras Mask. Their eyes look similar don't they?
Ok in Majoras Mask they talk about an ancient Race that was evil, and they put evil into a mask. The ancient race I believe is the Twili, and the evil they put in the mask was the Fused shadow. Majoras mask wasn't necessarily "the fused shadow" But it had the power of the fused shadow in it.

So this ancient race (Twili) sealed the dangerous power of the fused shadow in Majoras Mask.

Thoughts? Corrections? Please, anything.

Two, Twili aren't sinister. Zant was acting goofy when you hear his story. Plus jumping up and down in Goron Mines Mini-Boss Redux. (I know, not actual explanation.)

Actually, the fused shadow is four parts. You have to find three but Midna already has one (its her headdress thing.) This does sound like something plausible though. Because the fused shadows are in four parts, but they are all part of a whole. If they were all one part they could very well have been some part of the darkness in Majora's Mask.

Hmm. Could have been somewhat plausible, but "ancient" doesn't go well with TP being only from a few decades to a century after OoT which has been suggested as far as I can remember.

The twili were banished a long time ago werent they? LIke before Oot and Majoras mask. There fore that race could have put the evil power (fused Shadow) into Majoras Mask. But the Fused shadow was whole at a time wasn't it?

She Created her headress thing while telling her background story, you could see she also has a scary evil smile during that story.

However, Argorok, in the cutscene it doesn't show her "creating" it, but rather it seemed like she found it. Her headress thing looks very much like the other fused shadows and she only took the headress after the twilight king had turned her into a nymph like creature. As soon as she comes to you she already needs to find the fused shadows which may lead you to believe that the headress she has was one fused shadow that she found easily and needed to find the others. The shadows all look like they were one piece and had been broken into separate pieces. The headress looks like it could fit onto the top of the other fused shadows.

I just watched the final boss of the game and saw Midna with her helmet-thingy on with the three parts of the Fused Shadow (Her Monster Form, nothing more)

I stand corrected.

I think the design of the Fused Shadows was intentionally similar to Majora's Mask, but there isn't an actual plot connection. Zant's mask also seems to allude to Termina: its tongue sticks out like the the tongues of the blasphemous statues in the Stone Tower and its eyes are shaped like the compass emblem of Termina. I think the reason for this is that the ancient people of Termina revolted against the goddesses and the Twili did as well, so the designs of the Fused Shadows and Zant's mask hint at that.

I doubt thats what Nintendo had in mind, but that thought is extremely awesome. Major props. =P That would be an awesome suggestion to Nintendo to ponder on.

Yeah, I noticed alot of similarities between the Fused Shadow and Majora's Mask. They have similar concepts... but it's all kind of vague. The could be connected, they could not. = / *shrug*

Thanks, I still have to do some research. But its my basic idea.

I beleive that in MM, Majora was some sort of evil entity that was sealed into a mask. So is it possible that Majora was some sort of evil Diety over the Twili?

I don't believe that there is any real connection it, yet I think Nintendo purposely made it similar so fans could decide their one interpretation of it.

I really wish there was a connection, so MM would be more...important.

Still my favorite game, nonetheless!
