They Shoved the Triforce Down Our Throats, So Appreciate It

Yep, that's what the designers of The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker did to you in this game. You searched so much....so hard....to find the triforce in OoT. You wrote about it, You saw screens of it. You heard the rumors and thought you could find it in OoT...somewhere.

You wanted to see it ( idiots who didn't understand that Link has the Triforce of Courage in his possession already, Zelda has the triforce of Wisdom, and Ganon has the Triforce of Power. If the whole thing with it being on their hands didn't give you people a clue, then you seriously know nothing about the Zelda series or its storyline.)

So because you losers wanted to see the triforce so badly, they gave it to you, and gave it to you well. So well, that in fact they had to break the triforce in freakin' fragments and hide all over the place to find in Wind Waker. This seriously is the longest thing in any Zelda game I had to endure, and it was freakin' tedious, and it's all thanks to you because you wanted to see the triforce in OoT.

......Then what happens....I see that when they give you the triforce to see and find and touch and jack off to in WW, what do you do? YOU COMPLAIN ABOUT IT!

Way to go! I still see people posting questions about the rumored triforce in OoT, almost 10 years after the fact it's been proven it's not there. It's like searching for the fountain of youth after it's known to not exist. Then Nintendo gives you a visible triforce to find, and you cry about it.

I know most of you are awesome and are dedicated Zelda fans and know about the triforce very well. You know it IS NOT in OoT because the main characters HAVE THEM IN THEIR POSSESSION. You understand that it is stupid to search for something that YOU ALREADY HAVE! (the uppercasing of the words in this paragraph are for you losers that wanted to find the triforce in OoT and complained you had to find it in WW. Please print this post and highlight these words and post them next to your bed, so every night you can be reminded that you are a stupid person with a conflict in your life. You want things in life, but when you get them, you complain about searching for them, but you rather search for something you already have......a matter of fact, let me make it easier and write something special you can print out and put next to your bed.

The Declaration of a "TRUE ZELDA FAN"

I am a "true Zelda fan". I know that the Triforce is NOT in Nintendo's acclaimed The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time because Link, Zelda, and Ganon possess them already. It is stupid to search for something I already have, but I do it anyway and post pictures from websites that still believe it to be true. I believe in everything I see.

I want the best things in life, but when I get them, it pisses me off I had to search a long time to get it, but I will do this only when I know it is not there, so I can complain and try to prove that it is. I am a gratuitous member of Zelda Universe, so I waste their forum space by trying to prove that the triforce does exist.

I blinked, went to the bathroom, and/or watched porn during all of the cut scenes that showed the Triforce's power on the hands of Zelda, Link, and Ganon. I was too busy wondering why I had a certain power on my own hand: the power to grow hair from my palm. It's okay though, because I'm a "true fan" and did this power using my left hand.

I am so grateful I awoke this day and will sleep this night feeling like a true member of the Zelda community. Posting about the triforce in OoT will surely have people calling me a n00b, which probably means nearly overqualified overachieving boy. I dedicate my life searching for the triforce, as I have dedicated my life searching for Luigi in the N64 classic, Super Mario 64.





Again, please print this out, use some kind of photoshop editor and put a certificate border around it, and place it next to your bed. It will remind you how great you are, when the TRUE DIEHARD ZELDA VETERAN will tell you that you're not.

... Riiiiiiight... we all know the Triforce isn't in OoT. People complain about the triforce hunt in TWW, and that Hyrule was flooded by a wish made upon the Triforce.

Also, OoT hasn't even been out for 10 years. It was released in 1998. (It's not even 2007 yet!)

I can understand being mad about people complaining, but dude chill out.

PS I didn't search for the Triforce in OoT, but I say the hunt was tedious and boring. (Could've added 3 or 4 temples to the game if they wanted rather than sail sail sail sail) and I say Hyrule is underwater, then so be it.

The point is we all disliked the triforce search. Nintendo was probably so pressured with time and wanting to give the fans what they wanted that they scrapped dungeons for more triforce pieces.

Wouldn't it have been easier to tye 8? it's about 8 less characters...

Doesn't anybody agree this is why this monstrosity of a choice in WW happened? Because of those "Zelda fans" who claimed to find the Triforce in OoT, we were given the Triforce..... and had to fetch it like a dog.

As for the backlash from the post above, nobody replies to your posts because you have nothing worthy to say, and nobody cares to hear about your Zelda timeline either considering you're still trying to beat TP.

I agree with you. Seriously, you already have one part of the triforce, and you meet one person with one part and fight the other person. It's already there, and it is of no use to you even if you did get it.

The Triforce was glorified in Ocarina Of Time, that is why people wanted to find it so badly. In the Wind Waker, it wasnt focused on so much.

The fact is, Nintendo misunderstood exactly what a lot of Zelda fans wanted. They wanted the power the triforce gave, not just a representation that you have it. Apart from being able to progress through the wind waker by getting the triforce of courage, It gave you no extra power whatsoever. That is where the dissapointment lies. And i can understand that dissapointment, even if I do not wholeheartedly agree with it.

I've been a member for almost five years, I would hope I would at least receive a warning, and the post was supposed to be comical.

I agree, but the reason it was tedius is because it felt worthless. You get no power from the triforce piece. All you get is further progress through the game, which makes the challenge feel empty.

No, not worthless in itself, but in the Wind Waker link did not experience any change in himself after obtaining the triforce, which to some people (not me) was a dissapointment, especially due to the amount of toil required to get it. Also remember, the people who searched endlessly for the triforce in Ocarina Of Time were looking for the full triforce, not just the courage piece. They wanted to see how powerful the triforce really was.

This is great. Not only did you rip on idiot noobs that try to find the Triforce in ot, but the fact that the Triforce quest was not god enough for people in WW! I love it! I even can rember how rediculous the wild goose chase glitches people made up on how to get the Triofrce in the game, saying that you could only find it in the Gold Cartrage! People even made rumors about Miyamoto givng hints to where it was in the game. It is just all a bunch of BS made up for fans to enjoyth replay value of OoT while the rumor lasted.

Honestly, the reason people did not like the Triforce Quest in WW is because it was to bland and unentertaining. I think what most fans want is for Link to aquire the entire Triforce in the game and use it to defeat some higher evil entity in a game. Thats what I think. Because you have to admit. Link uses the complete power of the Triforce like Ganon did in ALttP, would be badass.

Oh and I thiink I agree with the demenor of this thread. So I am going to keep this alive as much as possible since the very discussion of this matter is idiotic in todays knowledge of "REAL" Zelda Secrets.
