Man, why did Nintendo get rid of the octorocks? They were a Zelda tradition. At first I thought that I had seen them in the Goron Mines in one of the rooms with all the water, but they had no tentacles whatsoever and when I bought a guide book it says it's a Water Toadpoli. Its just, they have been in every Zelda game to date and now the tradition is over. even if PH has them we will never be able to say that they are a tradition.

Re: Octorocks Gone
Perhaps that was the reason why they didn't put it in... It was said that this is going to be the last traditional Zelda game, or something to that effect, so maybe they're getting rid of precedents that would hold them down.
...or maybe they just didn't put them in. Either way... |

Re: Octorocks Gone
Shield mechanics are fine. Your shield doesn't bounce the projectiles back unless you shove forwards with it at the right time.
I don't really miss the octoroks, but I was weirded out when they weren't in the game.

Re: Octorocks Gone
Yes, they are. If you don't bother getting the skills, you just use your sword on those enemies. I don't see the problem.
