GC version of TP might be in very limited supply.

If anyone here has Twilight Princess preordered at Gamestop/EBGames, you may want to call.
It seems they are being shorted pretty badly.
The one here had 61 preorders and is only getting 26 copies.

If this is true, I will be VERY pissed at Nintendo. Screwing over the people who can't afford a Wii, and have been waiting 2 years for this freakin game. Seriously, with the Wii being hard to find and GC version being in limited supply, how the hell is anyone going too play this game?

I sent a E-mail to Nintendo if they were sending it in limited supply, but they said no. So I don't know what is going on.

Probably it depends where you are or something.

I'v also send a email to nintendo and they've said they aren't going to making limited supply. I'm also waiting for the GC version. And I hope (from the bottom of my heart, just joking) there is enough GC version for everyone.

I still have the GC version pre-ordered even though I already have a Wii, and the Wii version of TP.

This will suck, I realy hope they are not limited because I was looking forward to getting my copy of TP sometime this week, but I might have to wait for around christmas(I might actualy get a wii for christmas with the help from my aunt) So if they are limited I will just wait and hope I get one and then get TP.

Hopefuly they wont have a limited supplies and only sell for a month.

I guess this is why Nintendo have not confirmed a release date for the gamecube version in Australia or New Zealand yet. The gamecube version is my only hope of getting it for at least a few months, so if they dont release here, im going to be a little bit peeved.

I hope it's not limited just so I can pick up a copy when it hits 20 bucks (I want to play the game both ways w/ both control schemes).

Well, my theory is coming true, the GCN TP Launch will be like the PS3's. Somone is going to get shot for a TP version lol.

I had it pre-ordered just in case I couldn't get a Wii at launch. That way, at least I had the GC version pre-ordered as a backup.

Thats a good idea! I'm probably going to get the GC version when it comes out, and sell the actual game on ebay instead of the pre-order. The pre-order is only good for the store where I live, so unless you live in Florida, the pre-order slip would be pointless to have.

I'm sure I can make some sort of profit on the cube cersion. It will cost me $50, but I'm sure I could sell it for at least double that!

Well that suck because once it's like 20 bucks for GCN i'll buy it. I already have it for Wii but I want to play it on GCN because of it's controls. WW's controls were flawless so I want TP with flawless controls. They're good for Wii but not flawless.

The controls on the cube version will be far from flawless. Take fishing for example...the Wii controls blow the cube controls out of the water.

Actually the guide describes the controls in the GCN version and they suck. TP was built to handle the controls of the Wii it looks like. Everything is so complicated on the GCN.
