No seasons in TP..

I was reading through TSA's fusion tour report and found this disapointing yet interesting piece of his review:

The Nintendo rep said the trees "do" change color, but it is not due to the "seasons", and it's something I can't reveal right now. However, fishing at night, or in the rain, was sweet. You can look into the starry night sky...and...yeah...it's just...greatness.
Kinda sucks doesn't it? However the trees do change color, but not due to seasons, I wonder why? The weather changes too, but I guess we won't be seeing much snow now.

too, bad. but the weather still changes, so that's a good thing. and seeing as they can't explain, trough what it changes, im guessing, ye get an item later, which ye can use to change the weather, or it's like a side-effect of the twilight realm that throws the weather system in confusion.

You mean like in the OoS? But why would trees change color? Unless they're radioactive...

Right, but the maybe in the Twilight Realm there are no seasons at all. Or, maybe we'll meet Onox, again.

kinda, like in Oos only this item, controls the weather, like rain, snow, thunder etc instead of whole seasons. no idea about the trees tho, maybe a side-effect of the twilight realm, something else....

That sounds like the most reasonable solution. Or, programmers were too lazy to put in the season-change effect. But, they're already late for... Hoe long - a half of year? They could put in every years day difference by now!

yeah, that could be it to. a real time system would be cool tho, but that's probably to difficult if it responds, to the days of real life, but a system where the seasons switch every now and then, probably would have worked too.

it would have been dope, to see whole hyrule, covered in snow, tho, with ice everywhere. or the effects of autumn, barely having any sun, alot of rain etc.

Re: No seasons in TP..

It is not impossible with Game Cube or Wii, but they make the game, we play it. I wish we could participate in making of the game. TP would be awsome. There would be seasons and everything else. And five playdisdc, tough, 'cause I doubt all of our ideas would fit in a single GC disc.

Yea, and then it would take 8 years to finish the game if Nintendo implemented all of our ideas lol.

Re: No seasons in TP..

Well, I guess you can't always get what you request. It must be against the majority.

It would of been nice to see the seasons change, but at least the weather does. We can't have everything included in the game because it would never come out. Nintendo always delays Zelda games to begin with and if they implemented all of our ideas then they would have to delay it again. Then we would complain about another delay, so it's really a lose/lose situation for Nintendo. Either we complain that a feature we wanted is not in the game, or we complain about delays lol.

Yeah, I was excited about the seasons too, oh well.. Atleast we've got something similar right? And I don't think there'll be an item for changing seasons.
