majora's mask on gamecube...

hey i dunno if this happend with anyone else... on the majora's mask gamecube version...does it freeze alot? because i was playin it the other day, and when i done the song of time it showed link falling through time etc, then the screen went balck and i had to reset the game. then when i was in the field kicking ass with epona (lol) the game froze again....weird...just wondering if its happend with anyone else?

But not in MM...
It happened in OoT after I just had passed Ice Carvern (without saving, of course, with my luck...) when it happened...

It might be your GameCube that it is something wrong with; it happens sometimes during other games as well...

no it only happens with MM, all the other games i have work fine...my LOZOOT has never frozen...yet...*hopes it never happens*

No, sorry. I have beat both gamecube versions and they only problem i encoutered was Ocarina of Time Freezing one time. Have you made sure your disk is clean? If it is, you can always NES it and blow in your gamecube.

It happens to me sometimes. Like when I've beaten a temple and then go to Termina Field, it'll freeze. My reasoning says it might be, that having done something "big" in the game, and then make it load a big area like the field or something else, it's too much, and so it freezes. Don't know if that makes any sense, but since it happens more often in such situations (to me anyway), it may have something to do with it. It's frozen a few times, so now after doing anything important, I play the Song of Time as soon as possible.

It's also just frozen for no apparent reason twice I think. It's so annoying... I think OoT has done that once or twice too. That really teaches one to save often enough. -__-

This happens to me when the disk is dirty or my Memory card. The rest of the time it works fine, though it can be slugish.

Yes MM does have a problem on the gamecube, Nintendo did a sloppy port. MM still tries to read from the expansion pack. Which is not there, and causes the game to freeze.

There's a notice when you are about to play MM about it.

I had that problem with Majora's Mask. The only problem with it happening to that particular game is how the saving works.

I have heard turning rumble off fixes this, but I don't know since I have the N64 version.

Yeah it acts trippy sometimes when I play it.

Mine used to freeze when I first got it, but it hasnt done it lately.

Same here rewound time and just blackness... My Gc Oot hasn't frozen...

It only happened to me 1 time maybe its the system when its loading because it's a disc.

I do not have MM on the Nintendo GameCube
I only have it on my Nintendo 64. I'm not going to buy the same game twice. XD

it happened once whit mine's, i was entering ikana canyon to see Kafei and for no reason, the game freezes, but most of the time, espacially in clock town my game have looooooooot of lag

That'd be awesome! The game would be even more challenging than it really is! Just like Master Quest!

My game always freezes when I'm playing The Legend of Zelda (the first one)
