The Legend of Zelda - Twilight Princess: Main Theme?

It seems that the TP Main Theme has appeared (on ign boards)

If you listen carefully, you´ll notice the original Zelda Main Theme in the end, so in my opinion, it´s not a fake, and if it is a fake, it would be a pretty good one. However, it´s a very good piece! What do you think?

I'd say fake. If you listen to the music we've heard in TP, it has more or less the same sound quality as WW and this sounds better than that or at least very different. It doesn't match.

Other than that, I didn't really find that piece very interesting so I'm hoping that it isn't the main theme

sounded more like a cut scene of some sort...and kinda majora's maskish

I personaly think it'd make quite a good theme, it's quite dark and dramatic, maybe it doesn't quite fit with what we've seen so far, but we have all only seen "the tip of the ice berg" as the saying goes, oh well... it's a nice piece of music... and we all only have about seven weeks left to wai!

If anything, it makes me think it would be on the title screen demo or something...if this is real.

But ask yourself this: Why would this suddenly be 'leaked?' I can't find any logical explanation for it, and the IGN boards aren't exactly what I'd call reliable.

Take it with a grain of salt. If anything, it's probably an interesting fan composition trying to get a little exposure by claiming it as 'legit.' I mean, what better way to get a mass of people to listen to it, rather than saying, 'look what I wrote, guys!'

Um...all we've heard is music from demo recordings so far. Those are all low-quality to begin with, so you can't really judge by that.

Anyone notice some serious ALttP inspiration at the beginning? There was inspiration at about I say this is very believable. Although darker, this track has a very Zelda-esque feel to it. It's also about the right length for a main theme. Also, listen to seconds 28-46. What does that remind you of?

...No, I'm seriously asking. It reminds me of something but I can't put my finger on it. It may or may not be Zelda-related, but it's definitely inspired. Also, 1:00-1:15 sounds inspired by a certain theme in Princess Mononoke... >.> Odd.

By the way, just so there's no confusion, this is definitely a synthesized MP3. Orchestral, perhaps; but not recorded live.

And Darmani's Ghost, it's kooloo limpa. If you're going to go out of your way to mock Tingle, do it right.

I'm not obsessed with zelda as you are, so I will stick to "koola". Call me noob, I don't care.

I have no way of determining if it's fake or not. But it does sound good.

Getting close to the end, around 1:59-2:03, if you listen closely, you can hear an ascent that matches the one in the Zelda theme. So, this may be real, it may not. I love the piece either way.

One person says it reminds him of ToP. That doesn't necessarily mean it's fake.

It's fake I'd say.. it definetly doesn't sound like any other music I heard in Zelda games... Now really, does this sound like Koji Kondo made this? No, atleast to me it doesn't.
Sounds alot more like the tales of symphonia music, it's probably done by the same guy, if you ask me.

I hope the overworld theme sounds kinda like the one in OOT, I'd hate it if it were a dark and moody theme all the time, their needs to be a break from the darkness sometimes. The game should have a good balance of happy/cheerful and dark/scary moments. It's what made OOT so good imo: one moment you're walking in kokiri forest with cheerful background music, the next you fall in some grave with weird naked zombies making weird moaning noises. A surreal moment you'll never forget because it's so unexpected.

Sounds...not fanmade, but not Zelda, either.

Not dramatic enough--like that other fake that surfaced a while ago, which was a fan submission for a contest, it doesn't have any signature crescendo or catchy underlying tune, and frankly it isn't tight enough--oh, the instrumentation is spot-on, I mean there's not a definitive pattern to it.

Yeah it's fake. If I remember correctly, Cellius 18 is the guy that mixed the music for LOL (Legend of Link).

I am not talking about the quality of the recording/mp3 file, I am talking about the style or whatever you want to call it. TP does not use orchestrated music and the music we've heard so far doesn't even sound synthetic orchestrated, it sounds very similar to WW's MIDI style but less cartoony.

Also, "demo recordings"? what do you mean or what are you refering to? We've heard real in-game music such as the fishing area, goron mines, different boss battles, battle theme, forest temple theme, a village theme and more melodies. IMO we have even heard the main game theme (the theme in the two latest trailers), but it's pure speculation on my part of course.

Doesn't matter though, it's a fake either way.

If you're going to correct people for mocking Tingle, at least get "Kooloo-Limpah" right

I don't know why, but it just doesn't sound like it fits in Zelda games. Fortunately it is definitely a fake.
